That new game Trine looks georgeous, and I was wondering if it was similar to how The Lost Vikings for the Super Nintendo played. I love that game, it kicks so much ass.

From what I know of Lost Vikings, yes. There's a demo out for PC (and maybe PSN, I don't know) if you want to try it out.

It hasn't hit PSN yet. I'm hoping it hits this week though.

It clearly has elements from Lost Vikings, but the Jump & Run focus is stronger in Trine. Great to see someone remembers Lost Vikings btw ;)

Doesn't sound like Trine is hitting PSN today since a new developer post on the blog indicated it will be hitting 'soon'. *Sighs* Hitting opposite Battlefield 1943 probably wouldn't have done Trine's sales any wonders, but I am really looking forward to playing Trine (and 1943, truth be told).

I know that i am giving new life to a thread that been dead for years BUT...

I am downloading Trine 2 at PSN right now, and when i looked at the trailer my mind said "V..V.v.v.v....VIKING! - LOST FUCKING VIKINGS!!!!!1".

So of some reason i Googled "Lost Vikings" and i found this thread, and i read about people who remember it.

Made me feel really good and feel good as a gamer, remembering this old - simple but good - shit that could make us kids play 24/7. And these days they release games that needs Patches to work prop (BattleField 4).

Getting a little sentimental now, but hey - after reading GameSpot for about 5-10 years this thread actually made me register!

Cheers from Sweden / UnoMannen, an oldschool gamer who appriciates simple but inovative gaming mechanichs! :)

@unomannen: Don't revive old threads, please.
