Is Twilight Princess GC worth it for.... 32 pounds?

Before I start, I'm in the UK NOT the US. The standard price of a PS3/360 game here is £40-£45.

Now, the GC version of TP is EXTREMELY here in the UK. The cheapest I could find it for was £32 on Cex.co.uk

Im not allowed to shop online (parents :roll: ...

The website has a handy in store stock checker and surprisingly, there's one copy in my local shop. This pretty much is, a once every year opportunity for me

The Zelda series is definitely one of my top 5 in gaming. Played OOT, MC, MM, WW, PH, ST... Hell, I even spent £15 for a cartridge only copy of ALTTP for the GBA. Enjoyed all of them of course.

I'm not the richest student in the world, so this is quite a decision. Especially considering the rather mixed reception about the game from fans, I'd like to know your opinion on whether or not I should grab it tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

I've seen it with a 75€ price tag, so I say yes.

I don't see why not, it's not too old a game and it's not too shabby either (I've played it).

As long as you get hours' worth, though I'm sure you'll pack in at least 30, it is Zelda after all, go for it. And enjoy.

its an awesome zelda game... worthy to be close to or around majora,ocarina... windwaker was different artsyle and better graphics than majora or ocarina so i really like this one more..

i also have the GC version of TP. it rocks.

If your a Zelda fan I'd say get it because Nintendo games rarely go down in price and I doubt you would get any cheaper in the high street . I don't own the GC version I have it on the Wii personally I didn't it as I'm that keen on Zelda.

Damn composite cables! The visuals are really jaggy here and there. Still, knowing me I can live with it. Btw, at the start of the game, it shows a gamma/brightness optimization screen. The first test is that there should be 3 squares under the description. What I see is, 3 black squares with nothing inside them. Is there supposed to be 3 squares inside these 3 squares or just 3 squares? Umm, yeah that probably sounds confusing, doesnt it? :?:

Man I am such a huge fan of the Zelda series but for some reason or another I just did not like the twilight princess.I can't really put my finger on it but I didn't like running around looking for stuff with that stupid wolf,and the pace of the game just seems so slow compared to other zelda games to me.

Many will bash me and thats fine but I love almost every zelda title that I have played and I have ben playing this series since I was in the first grade way back in 1988.......but maybe its just me.Still I looked through the reviews and I while most enjoyed it, it did seem to have more negative replies that the others.

32 pounds!?! thats like 60+ in american currency right?

I'd say yes. I bought a used copy of Twilight Princess on GC for $40 at Gamestop and I love it.

For collection purposes, I'd say go for it. I got it sealed for £45. I got the Wii version to play, anyway.
