Hey all, a little help.. I'm trying to sign into Live to play some Halo 3. I tested my network connection, and everything came up fine (including Xbox Live). So then I sign into my profile and it loads, but doesn't connect to Live, so I choose "Connect to Xbox Live" or whatever. It attempts to connect, but doesn't. So I go into Halo thinking maybe I can just sign in from there. I go to sign in and when it goes to load my profile, it just signs me back out of it. So I though maybe something got corrupted (?) and I'll try to recover my gamertag. It said "Xbox Live Signup is unavailable" when I tried. Also, when the console tries to communicate with Live for any reason the 360 just hands, I'm assuming it can't connect, even though it said Live was fine in the test connection. Any ideas?
having same problem here, which leads me to believe xbox live is down, wtf, no notice, they usually send a msg when they are going to do maintenance and its going to be down, hopefully it will be back soon tho, damn, my only day off and cant play COD4 on live, i was lookin foward to this afternoon since the begining of the week, dangit!!!!!!
I'm thinking that Live is just down for now. They haven't released the fall update yet. I'm thinking that this is either the beginning of the fall update or the full thing. Don't worry, you should be able to connect soon. :D
I don't know, but I'm quite annoyed. The past two days nobody was on ranked Gears of War, but plently on non-ranked. And considering my Gold Live ended today, I'm pissed. I don't plan on getting another prepaid card until at the minimum of Christmas, so I'm annoyed.
Mines doing the same thing It signs in my profile but not live. I cant even get xbox.com to work on my PC. I tried doing a GT recovery and it said there was noone with my GT in the live network. I hope its just a live problem and my account didnt get cancled or something. If anyone has more info or if live starts working again Id really apreciate a msg to let me know.
I got it to sign in somehow and it said I had 1 new msg so maybe they sent out a msg about it and we just missed it. However as soon as i clicked on the msgs tab my xbox froze. If anyone does get on eventually and its working properly, dont forget about your forum friends here and let us know its back up and running. Later

I was able to get xbox.com/live to load a few hours ago, but Live was still down then. I haven't check again recently (past 1.5 hours), though. Anyone get on?
