The game was pretty rubbish to be honest, just another cynical Tetris clone that loads of developers seemed to be churning out at the time (Nintendo included). I had the Game Boy version, but I can't imagine there's much to choose between them. If you want a game like this, go for Tetris Attack on the SNES (re-released on the N64 as Pokemon Puzzle League), it's loads better. Or you could just get Tetris...

I remember buying that when I was a kid thinking it was a real Yoshi game. I took it back to the store once I figured out it was just a puzzle game. Thankfully Nintendo released Yoshi's Island in 1995. Now that's an SNES Yoshi game worth playing.

I own Yoshi's Cookie on NES and It's alright but too easy. The graphics look terrible on NES. SNES looks way better.

i liked Yoshi's Cookie. i had the SNES version. i would plug it in, and then pop some music into my CD player and play away.

however, i agree with the other posters. Tetris Attack is much better... and at the Very Hard difficulty setting is nearly impossible to complete without a lot of practice.
