I've just been playing one of the greatest FPSs ever

Quake 3 Redemption

Seriously, this game is amazing, fantastic uber fast paced gameplay, decent graphics (considering it's a 2001 game), bots, and 4 player splitscreen, z0mfg.

I love it, just as much as when I first got it 7 years ago, back when I was a little 8 year old, and my dad bought the PS2, I remember it well :)

If you like FPSs, but you don't like Q3R(or the PC version, Arena), you're mental.

It's damn challenging too, playing on Hurt me Plenty is awesome fun, and if you feel up to it, crank the difficulty up to nightmare xD it's insanely hard at times, but with each defeat brings more determination to whoop Xaivers arse :p

I always played as the Doom marine, he's awesomesauce, and my dad was always Sarge, he's also brilliant.

Please tell me people remember this game? :p

I need to play PD64, I've only played the 360 version, which was a bit meh imo.

PD64 may not impress you much now, but when it came out it took basically everything Goldeneye did right and then made it better.

Back on topic, Quake 3 is actually the only Quake game I havn't played, namely due to it's lack of a single player campaign. I know you can play offline but I prefer the Unreal Tournament series both online and offline if i'm playing a multiplayer game.

Quake 3 Redemption has a single player campaign...

And it's great too, quite a lot of it to play through.

You sort of level up, going from Slave, to...the other ranks that I forgot.

Also, yea Doom is frigging awesome too, I love doom, played it when I was about 4 :p

I just said it's "one" of the best, some of the others imo are Black, Timesplitters 1 and 2, Doom series, Unreal series, and Half Life 1 and 2.

Anyways, TimeSplitters 2 is amazing. Best console multiplayer game out there. Black was a lot of fun too! Just a pretty short lifespan.
