it's a mario game that comes with a mouse and mousepad, and you paint.

you should also grab f-zero.

I own one, and I think the essentials probably are-

Super Mario All-Stars (or any of the separate Marios)
Super Mario Kart
Final Fantasy VI
Chrono Trigger
Super Metroid
Secret of Mana
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

There are plenty of other great games for the system, though.

this is off topic but.. your sig bothers me. You say a guy has a crush on his teacher, yet he's homeschooled. Some kids have teachers that come to their house everyday. So It's not necessarily meaning he'd have a crush on his mom / dad or whoever you're trying to imply o_o. You should clarify if this guy's teacher is someone he's related to, sorry :P
