I know it's a couple days since release but who else is excited for this updated collection? I'm about to go pick one up now, it'll bring back those great childhood memories...ahh the nostalgia. Please do us all a favor and BUY this game even if you missed the PS2 versions. You won't regret it. With enough sales hopefully Naughty Dog will continue the series, hopefully. =/
I am starting to get tempted to buying it. I own and have played all the PS2 games, and I'm not sure about having those and the HD collection. But maybe if I sell the PS2 versions I'll come around to getting the HD collection.
I'll probably end up buying it since I don't have jak 3 on the ps2 and the HD and trophy support will be nice for the other two (even though I hate jak II)
I don't think Naugty dog is very likely to do anything more with the series, just as they're not likely to do anything more with crash bandicoot. They don't seem to be a developer to milk their franchises to death, infact I would be surprised if there are many more uncharted's in the works especially not with the new IP "The Last of Us" coming out.
I'll pass. The first game was good. The second game was alright, and despite the grating presence of Angry Jak (how I wish ND had kept his mouth shut rather than having him growl and grimace like an idiot) it entertained me enough to get the third. Never got round to finishing it though. It wasn't a bad game, it just lost its hold on my attention.
I Amazon'd this when I bought Amalur. It's a great series. It's unfortunate that the charm of the first game was lost with the second, but they found a sweet spot between the two formulas with the third. I would freak if Naughty Dog announces another J&D game.
