Jason West has left Respawn Entertainment

Respawn Entertainment co-founder Jason West has left the company, sources close to the studio have informed me. Co-founderVince Zampella is now the acting head of the studio.

The duo are best known for having created the Call of Duty series under Activision.

Im told West has not been involved in active development for Respawns game for a number of months now, but it has not impacted development.GiantBomb

Kinda funny that after all the troubles and all the lawsuits, he decides to leave the company. Not sure if it will impact development or if he even had anything to do with the game but I thought it was interesting.

If he wasn't involved with the company for a number of months before he left the company, he probably has a personal issue he needs to address.
