I might pick one up just to have as part of some kind of collection. Anyone remember the X-Band modem for the Genesis and SNES? (unsure if it was made for the Super Famicom). I picked one of them up.

it took a while but I finally got pretty good with it when playing rad racer. I don't think it should have become the joke it has become. IT's a conversation piece if nothing else :P

What site was this and did you get all the sensors required for it to work? Also I would recomend you get rad racer because I've heard the powerglove works well with it.

i used to x-band on my SNES back in the day. why did you get one? you do realize its been over 10 years since they had their servers set up right? regardless, good for you i guess (although you can't really do anything with it) i will give it props for being the first non pc online gaming utility, its a shame it took so long for home consoles to get that far.

You should google up the Angry Gamer Nerd's video review of the Power Glove & see what you're getting into...

Its funny that you mention purchasing one because I just sold mine. It was in my closest and I never planned on using it again. It was a novelty and I dont remember anyone ever using it regularly, even for games like rad racer or punch out.

I got one of those beasts when it originally came out. It had these L shaped sensors that wrap around hte TV, lol. Much larger than the Wii sensor bar. I got it for Mike Tyson's PO but man what a waste. It was more fun to wear and run around the house acting like Predator.

Thats a harsh way to put it! One man's trash is another man's treasure... isn't that the saying?

Personally, I think it would be hilarious to have a power glove and try to play NES games with it.

By works good, I meant for a Power Glove lol. Like it would work as good as a new one, not necessarily work as a good controller. And yes I have seen the AVN movie on it. I got it from shopgoodwill.com. It is an auction site for Goodwill. The shipping is pretty expensive, and the stuff usually goes for a high price, so I was surprised to find out I won it. It comes with the sensors. Here is the link to it http://www.shopgoodwill.com/viewItem.asp?ItemID=3671190
