Just Cause 3: Best Game Nobody is Hyped For

I get it, I get it, Fallout 4 is just around the corner and that's a big shadow to stand in, but my personal excitement goes far more towards Just Cause 3.

I remember picking up Just Cause 2 without any enthusiasm and randomly playing it out of boredom. Man was I hooked instantly. The creativity of mindless destruction, THE HOOKS, the sheer size of the map, the sense of freedom and the EXPLOSIONS! I even enjoyed the corny story.

Yeah looks great and all but I'm more hyped for other games right now so I'll probably pass on this game.

Weird when how good look this Just Cause 3.

It should be good but it is releasing at the wrong time of year if it wants to take the spotlight. There are bigger games with larger fanbases and a whole lot more marketing behind them.

Didn't really get into the last game, so I'm cautious about this one.

But I'll see what people say about it come release.

Good point that, although it almost makes me like like it even better. Looking at the dev diaries it seems they genuinely enjoyed making this.

That might be a form marketing too, but it looks like a fun game to work on.

Well, I am certainly hyped for the game. I don't give a shit about COD III, haven't played Fallout, passed on Halo 5, so really this is my most wanted game of the season.

Am definitely looking forwards to it.

As a primarily story gamer there is absolutely nothing about the JC franchise that screams buy me or hyped. It´s a boring 2nd rate game when it comes to story and having a red line through the game.

But i get why people who love to destroy shit might be interested in this.

yeah same here. i tried a few times to get into it but always ended up losing interest or getting distracted by other games.

will keep an eye on the reception it gets and gameplay vids but definitely not a day one for me

I won't lie, I think there's a safe bet that Just Cause 3 will be the best sandbox game ever made. It just looks so fun.

@Jacanuk: I'm just curious, does that mean that any game that's tons of fun with a weak story doesn't interest you? Because Just Cause 3 looks like it's about nothing more than entertaining the player and letting them make their own fun.

I wanted to like the last game, but the crappy missions and bad gunplay completely turned me off.

Hopefully this game won't have those problems.

Yes, if a game does not have a story that captivates , the game would quickly find it´s way to the shelf or not be bought at all, at least not until it was drastically discounted.

Maybe there are just too many interesting games coming out next year and in the coming weeks. That's why. But the explosions look first-class. Freedom of movement is huge in this one. It will be a fun game.

Just Cause 2 was underrated, so I see much of the same for JC3! I'll pick it up eventually, it just won't be on day1.

November this year is pretty loaded, so not surprised. But I'm still looking forward to it and will pick it up in the near future.

I too played Just Cause 2 out of boredom ( I downloaded the demo one day ) and fell in love. I have JC3 pre-ordered and am looking forward to mass chaos and destruction.
