Just discovered Xcom enemy within....

I'm really enjoying this game so far, I've had my eye on it for a while. Loving the management side of it and the turn based combat is challenging and rewarding.

Just wondering are there any other games like this for 360?

Your thoughts on the game/series?

Any tips on the do's and don'ts would be very much appreciated?

Sounds good, but I haven't tried it yet. I might get round to it sometime though.

@thereal25: yeh I got the commander edition so it's got everything, it's like a GOTY edition, deffinately worth a purchase if you like that kinda game.

I have it in my backlog from ps plus. Im going to start playing it soon. Looks like fun.

That's a bare boned Enemy Unknown, version. And the console version has no DLC to turn it into Enemy Within. You have to buy Enemy Within as a stand alone game, if you want to play that on a console.

Ditto. Looking to check it out soon to see if it's my type of game. Most people that played it seemed to like it.

original Microprose game on the PC/Amiga was even better

k. It's one of those games where you learn as you go. And the difficulty setting is pretty rough too. Medium difficulty in this game can be very unforgiving for even the slightest mistake.

Couple of basic tips: base management and saving money / resources is very important

and "heat" ammo is useful when you get to it (you'll thank me later!)

Halo wars son!

Play the demo of enemy unknown when it first came out and I fell in love with it. Still need time to buy and play Xcom Enemy within & unknown and also the older entries in the franchise. But I know it's a pretty solid game.

I need to get this, Enemy unknown was my personal game of the year when it released.

As for the other question by TC, I don't know of anything else on console like/as good as this.
