Get yourself a copy of Eternal Darkness, outside of first party games it's the best exclusive on the system. Second_RookYah I never got to play this one when I was a kid, but I always though it looked pretty cool. I looked at picmin 2 and its around 40 to 50 bucks everywhere I buy from online. Must be a bit on the rare side...
I'm sure all these have been said before, but here goes: RE4, REmake, Metroid Prime, Viewtiful Joe2, Mario Kart Double Dash!!, Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, Melle, Luigi's Mansion (you better beleive it!), Super Mario Sunshine, Star Fox Assault, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle... there are definitley more, I just can't think of any right now.
Geist was pretty good actually, it's been a long time since I've played it but I do recall a couple times that it was really unclear as to what to do next. That was the only drawback I experienced, it deserved more respect from reviewers.Everything mentioned above but add Geist and Beyond Good and Evil if you have not played it. I really think Geist is a great sleeper hit.

Eternal Darkness - I actually haven't gotten my hands on this yet, myself. It is the highest one on my Gamecube wishlist. But I have seen gameplay of it, and the game is creepy as heck and looks like a great experience. The game uses light and dark in such a great way.
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker - Great Gamecube game. Big, epic adventure. Confession time, though: As it may be a great Gamecube game, I still feel it was weaker than many of the other Zelda games. But still a fun game in it's own right. The art-style in this game is cel-shaded, however, a new thing for Zelda games at the time. And using a ship for travel is the gimmick here. Still has all the adventuring, dungeon-battling, and item finding fun of a Zelda game, though.
Metroid Prime 1 & 2 - Very atmospheric, eerie, and alien-feeling game. The game does a great job of conveying this. The music is amazing, and the graphics are jaw-droppingly gorgeous, considering it was released on Gamecube. However, don't go into it expecting a First-Person Shooter. While the controls are similar, the game is an entirely different animal. This is usually the complaint of those that hate on it. The game focuses heavily on exploration, and you find upgrades that sort of level-up Samus as you go.
Resident Evil: Code Veronica X - The pinnacle of the old-school Resident Evil games. This is the biggest, the best looking, and has the most monsters of any of the old-style Resident Evil games. Originally released for Sega Dreamcast.
Resident Evil 4 - A massive shift in the Resident Evil series. The first of the "modern" Resident Evil series, and Gamecube is the original platform for this game. Special Agent Leon S. Kennedy battle the Las Plagas and Wesker with new gameplay, gorgeous graphics, and an all-new storyline and all-new creatures/monsters.
Super Mario Sunshine - Great 3D platformer, one of the best I've ever played. Heck, I even prefer this game to Super Mario 64. The people that don't like this entry in the Mario series are turned-off by the fact that it's not a familiar Mario game, set in the Mushroom Kingdom. However the gameplay is excellent and truly lives up to the Mario legacy.
Super Smash Bros. Melee - This is Super Smash Bros. for N64, but perfected with many more levels, characters, modes of play, and unlockables. A fighter like no other (not counting it's predecessor of course) in it's gameplay starring Nintendo icons.
WWE: Day of Reckoning - Great wrestling game. If your into wrestling, I highly recommend it. Fun for a vs. game with a friend even if you aren't a wrestling fan.
Multiplatform Mentions:
Zelda: Twilight Princess, Zoids: Battle Legends, Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, Mario Power Tennis, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Sonic Mega Collection, Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut, etc.
I suggest getting Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Smash Bros. Melee. They are the best games and will always be.
