Yeah, I love that game too.There is nowhere a official statement about that, it's just a topic in a forum (I think it was gametrailers). A guy there mentioned that those two games are connected in storyline. But I see no connection at all...

it probably takes place in an alternate soviet-ran reality or something.... but i dont think so. probably bogus
