Konami's Best of all time????

I been thinking this for a while and wanted to know what you think about this. Which is the greatest game from Konami? is it Castlevania or isit Metal Gear, or another? This includes all the versions for every console. I know they are differnt but I just want to know what you guys think?

Let's not forget Contra, Gradius, and the other classic games released by them. This one is way too hard to narrow down to just a single game.

Konami has done so much more than MGS, Castlevania and Contra. Watch this and you might find some games you've missed (and a lot of Capcom games too:P)

No question that Metal Gear Solid and everything Kojima does is their best. Then I think the Castlevania series comes in second. Silent Hill is okay too.

But my favorite would have to be Suikoden I, II, & III. Konami doesn't do too much RPGs but these old class!cs still rank up their as my personal favorites, especially Suikoden II.

I love that game, lots of nice boobs. But ya, I guess if there weren't lots of boobs I wouldn't have liked it. But the game at least breaks Konami's manish love action they had going up to RRXX.

No one mentions perhaps the greatest game of all? Turtles in Time? Contra 3 kicked ass too.

MGS3, and 1 and 2 were also quality.

Contra owned the 80s for me though. So did Life Force.

THe Silent Hill series is the creepiest games of all time. F Resident Evil.

But Contra was one of the coolest side scrollers of the 8bit days and Contra 3 was awesome.

I'll say Konami's best is...

Suikoden.

Yes not MGS, but Suikoden.

I say that in buisness term because Suikoden is a franchise that probably gets smallest budget in Konami but ends up bringing in a lot of profit.

Castlevania and MGS gets all the budget it needs, but in terms of buisness MGS was never that big of a money maker after 1. It still sold in millions but low millions. Castlevania even less.

That's why Suikoden I think is best Konami has to offer. Now I wish Suikoden gets more budget to really showcase what the series can offer.

However, in terms of quality of game.

I'd say MGS is the best the company can offer, quickly followed by Suikoden.

Castlevania had too many sub-par games in recent 3D attempts

and Z.O.E isn't really worth mentioning.

suikoden 1-5 (minus 4). It's probably the only relevant Japanese RPG series that's actually created an entire world and mythos that's coherent throughout the entire series. It treats its players with respect by showing the complexity of politics and religion. The story is almost off the charts good (wins ign's best storyline of the year: suikoden 5), and of course, the characters are always well-made.

Probably, most distinctly, all 5 series are in the same world in roughly the same time. Characters that you've only heard about in suikoden I are core characters in suikoden II and V (i.e. georg prime), and one of your core characters in suikoden I and II unexpectedly turns out to be the main villain in suikoden III, whose identity is revealed only at the latter part of the game.

I'm usually not a geek, and i actually despise fantasy novels (only like George R.R. Martin stuff), but suikoden's just something else. I friggin love MGS, Castlevania, Contra, Turtles in time, but Suikoden's just special.

My choices:

MGS 1 and MGS3 Subsistence,

Castlevania Symphony of the Night,

Silent Hill 2,

Vandal Hearts.

imo since the early times Konami is great company with greatest games, so yes its my favorite company

I was beginning to worry until I saw this. Suikoden is definitely their best work, in my opinion.
