Kotor 3???

Does anybody know if there will be another KOTOR released? I recently played through The Sith Lords for a third time and I can't get over how amazing it was.famous_12

Yeah it is coming out but is not being developed by Bioware, Obsidian is taking over the job, so expect more of the same (which isn't bad obviously). I expect this game to be out sometime in 08'

Well considering that Obsidian is currently working on the Aliens game, I don't see a KotOR III coming out any time soon, assuming Obsidian will even be developing a KotOR III.

Was there more news released on it? The last thing I heard was in an interview a LucasArts representative said they had not forgot the KOTOR and Battlefront series.CooVee

Yep that's pretty much the last official word we have on another KotOR game.  I think for now, Force Unleashed is Lucasarts main focus.

Yeah, and that was, what, one or two years ago? And I think someone at Lucas Arts was quoted as saying that they only release one "core" game per year (in order to prevent titles from competing with each other) and that they've already got their release schedule for the next few years, none of which included KOTOR. Also, Bioware seems pretty busy with its Mass Effect series now (which has been confirmed to be a triology) and whatever they're working on with Lucas Arts. Indeed, that unknown project seems to be our best hope for a new KOTOR though the fact that LA has also announced an unnamed MMORPG makes me worried (the last thing I want is a KOTOR MMO).
