I can't really be excited about the game itself since I've yet to actually see it, but am I eager to finally check it out? **** YEAH!
I haven't heard too much about the game yet to be excited. I mean I want to, but I can't with so little facts.Yagr_Zero
Edge ran a wholly positive and informative preview earlier this year and used words such as "thrilling", "ambitious" and "technical marvel".
Well im excited to see the trailer at least, its been ages since ive heard anything about this game.

Well color me blind. I'm still waiting to see some more articles pop up though :P.i have been anticipating this game for awhile now. what are they talking about though? they've already released a teaser trailer, i'm really hoping this is gameplay footage.
I'm skeptical because the team behind Noire is made up of the incompetents who inflicted The Getaway upon the world, but some designers get better with time, so I'm following the game with interest because if the developer achieves its aims LA Noire is going to be amazing.
The trailer is out and I am impressed. The authenticity of the facial animations is unprecedented. Simply amazing. Hopefully, the game will be more about actual detective work and less about action. It certainly seems that way going by the previews and this trailer.
The facial animations look extremely well done! The game is intriguing, but I will have to wait and see if its just another sandbox GTA game in a different skin. I love GTA and RDR but they both are a tad repetetive and could use some work.
i hope so too. and yes, the lip syncing is spectacular. it looks like all they put into mo-cap is paying off.The trailer is out and I am impressed. This is true and it concerns me too. But Rockstar is pretty heavily involved in this game, apparently. I read an article where one ofRockstar's head creative guys was quality testing LA Noire in huge marathon sessions. You have to admit they've got a quality track-record (or at least I think so), so I don't think they're gonna let this one out of the gate unless it's good.

I returned RDR because of all the glitches and bugs, but up until RDR I would have agreed with you.
Anyway, the trailer looks great. I would have liked to see extended gameplay footage, but Rockstar usually doesn't do stuff like that in the run up to launch.
I'm not really feeling L.A. Noire yet, but there hasn't been any real reason to be excited yet.
The name sounds like they stole it from a James Ellroy novel, though.
