so anyone else notice this? - the first dead body you get as Homicide the corner says it happened around midnight, you are there like 10am or so and the body should be all stiff as hell, but you can pick up the arms and move them no problem this is just one of the problems I have found with this game - all it makes me want to do is play GTA, its the faces that are so much better but over all it runs at like 15FPS and has no anti-aliasing and looks like crap

GTA 4 runs at 15 FPS, has no anti-aliasing and looks like crap ;). LA Noire looks pretty sweet and runs pretty well (most of the time).

but the bodies should be stiff at least, in gta not sure because there arent any non-fresh kills that I have seen so who knows, also the already dead people are usually dead for a couple of days or so so rigor is gone by then, when you transport a body in the trunk or something like that yea GTA isnt the best graphics but really the rest of the game is great - this is like a police game that sucks because its in the 40's I love the whole face reading part and that is awesome, its like the dual thumb stick controls, or iron sights on FPS games - this has to be the standard from now on but the main character just looks and sounds wrong - I ask a question and he asks it like all pissed off when there is no reason for that, something is wrong with his eyes the driving sucks big time, none of the cars are any good, I havent even been able to make one explode yet they just catch fire and go out - I cant jump out of a moving car and when I hit people on the street they just move to the side and arent even hurt everything about this game sucks except for the interactions with people, that is really top notch and the only reason I will finish the game

LMAO! yea they dont have AA either I remember how the xbox 360 and PS3 were sosposta be the first "HD" gaming console - as it turns out almost 95% of all games arent even being rendered in anything over 640 vertical - HD starts at 720 vertical (or 720p) and most games are actually like 1152x640 or something close to that - they are just scaled up for whatever your display is - I think the only game thats over 720 vertical native is the NBA game, but sports suck and sport games suck even more so who wants to play that crap? IMO I think all console games have really bad graphics - I play PC games and have a really powerful PC - I will never get a console game if its on the PC unles its for multiplayer online and the PC side sucks or something like that but you would think that a game that has this much detail in the faces would have done some actual work for the dead bodies - the face looks painted on where as the people you interact with look real - I think they used actual people and then turned it onto something like the movie "A Scanner Darkly" because it looks really real - the main character is the worst, makes no sense since thats, well, the main character! - everyone else looks real but him, his eyes are, something is wrong with them and his voice also - just a bad choice for sure, just about anyone else in the game could have been better

Rigor Mortis is not permanent. It sets in shortly after death and then goes away (though I'm not sure on the time it takes).

So you're mad that they took out the things that made GTA a silly, immature, kid game?

I like LA Noire. The framerate could use some work, but overall, it's a great game.

well if you call murdering people "kids games" then yea, I am pissed they removed that stuff its like they took all sorta of time to make the faces look real (except for the side of faces, they look like crap) and then they just tacked on the rest of the game the interactions with people is definitely a 5 out of 5 - but the rest of the game is a 2 out of 5 at best

Murdering people is kids stuff, which is why you see games that contain garbage like that rated M but marketed to kids. Duke Nukem is a perfect example, it's clearly an m rated game, but has been marketed for young teens for it's toilet humor, and immaturity. As for LA Noire, you play a good cop who tries to do the right thing. Why in Jeebus would you want to be able to go around murdering people? Are you sick?

Well rigor mortis sets in at three hours and maxes out at about 12 hours and then it dissipates. But I don't see this as a problem.

nope it reaches maximum stiffness at around 12 hours, after 72 hours it is completely gone for the most part, but the body is all nasty by then so there are other problems - if someone was dead in a chair and then after rigor set in placed on the floor they would stay in the same position for about 14 hours - after 48 hours it would be slimping a little and after 72 hours should be all gone

You seem to want a GTA experience out of your LA Noire. Which is worrisome. Because they are nothing alike apart from the R* connection and being open-world. Also, Rigor mortis wasn't invented back in the 40s.
