So did everyone quit playing Battlefield 1? Or does EA just really, really suck?

I stopped playing all EA titles for PC many years back and got excited when I heard about BF1, bought the Ultimate Package; first money I've spent on EA in an eternity.

So here's what I bought:

1) Barely ANY available servers

I literally have like 3 to 4 server options available to me that are actually populated followed by an eternal list of empty servers. I live in British Columbia, Canada, not the Arctic. You're telling me there are 300 players give or take that I can play with across this whole continent? Joke!

2) Lag, lag, rubber banding, more lag, server issues, hackers, more problems

So I expand my search for servers and finally find some in.... ta da! Europe and Asia with lag counts of 200-600. I go back to playing on the 3 or 4 servers available with little ping (<80). However, the server crashes and I get disconnected. Or, there's ridiculous rubber banding. Mind you I've played over 180 hours on this game online. And yes, probably 1/3 of that time was with really bad lag or rubber banding. My download speeds are tested consistently at 70mbps. And there's the guy I just shot with a light tank, pissing blood for 3-4 seconds straight but doesn't take any damage or die. Joke!

3) Customer service is horrible. We should outsource North America to India. They know us better.

See the following post.

Joke!!!

EA Stinks. They have sucked the last money from me for eternity. When my boy grows up and if he decides he likes games, I will NOT spend a dime on an EA product even for him.

Save your money. EA is trash.

@jerry8484: I live in Vancouver and I am on Shaw. I rarely have lag, rubber banding, and I don't have problems finding servers. Must be something on your end. You may have to adjust router settings. Also, try a direct connection from your modem to your PC and see if it solves your problems.
