Yeah I saw that, it seems like a mistake though. At the time you put Dracula Mathmat who put Emil Defrasine alos put in 17 which you put Dracula. So people took his 17 and forgot yours. It seemed like a mistake.

Darth Vader? Am I the only one that feels that this shouldn't belong here? This should stick to Gaming characters, strictly. If we start pulling licensed characters into this then it's gonna fill up with choices like The Joker, Venom, Dr. Doom, T-1000, Khan, Darth Maul, and all kinds of stuff.

I agree with Emerald, Darth Vader belongs on a greatest Film Villians list, as Dr. Doom belongs on a greatest comic books villians list not gaming. Also Duck Hunt Dog was a nuisance to people like me and Emerald that were around during the NES era, and feel that he should belong there.

Dracula I'm iffy on...the Sonic cartoons are based off the game lol.

Dracula we are talking about is from Castlevania. Castelvania Dracula is his own thing, being that he is completely different from his source material, Dracula Castlevania is a legitmate gaming villian....Darth Vader really is based on exactly his source material, and is a film villian. if you used the Bela Lugosi dracula for a game sure follows the same thng, but being that Castlevania dracula has a rather complex origin, and is super powered compared to his source material counterpart, I consider it different.

thats fine. Well the Castlevania bosses are null and void, but Castlevania Dracula in the whole franchise has his own origin which differs greatly from the source material, and his own motifs. The thing with Dracula, the character in general is that the character is open domain. So there are many many different incarnations of him, such as the Hammer films. Coppolas rendition, and even(Emerald will know what I am talking about here) Marvel Comics has their own version of the character. Thats the whole thing with the character....he has many rendtions, Darth Vader does not because of Lucas film owns him and George Lucas has the final say for what happens to him. Most Darth Vader appearance are cannonical so yeah...

Nobody is trying to take away from Darth Vader or say he doesn't belong on the best villains list. We're just saying he doesn't belong on the best Villains in Gaming History list. Darth Vader is one of the biggest icons in pop-culture. I don't think anyone here would argue that. But he's not the same as Dracula from Castlevania. There's got to be like 20 Castlevania games out there, and nearly every single one them has the Castlevania version of Dracula for it's main/final boss.

Dracula(Castlevania) is different. The Force Unleashed is still in the main continuity of the films and the Star Wars saga. Castlevania Dracula has his own history and setting, and is very very different from his source Material. Vader is Vader....simple as that.
