I reckon I would probably find something else to do that gave me the same thing I seek from games...interactive entertainment or mental exercise during my off hours. I would probably play more sports, and make the effort to join more local organizations that particpated in those activities, like an intramural league or something. Logistically, gaming is less of a hassle, does not depend on other people being reliable and showing up on time, and allows me to do it in the comfort of my own home. That's not laziness, or a reluctance to be social, it's just a matter of time maximized in leisure activity without including coming home, changing, picking up gear, and driving to a facility. I'm not saying I don't do those things, I'm just saying I would probably do it more.
I would probably also spend more time on computer projects and digital content creation...more writing music, making movies, and writing.
The principle reason I play games is to do something that makes me think in the evening's rather than just watching TV. While I enjoy TV shows (series boxed sets on DVD) and I am a huge movie fan, in the end, I consider those activites as passive events...you sit and have someone else's perception of a concept transmitted to you. While you do some level of translation and interpretation on your own, I still find games more active, particularly since (depending on your chosen titles) it requires you to actively figure out a puzzle, assess physics and control surfaces (sims), develop and prescribe to tactical and strategic philosophies (defensive vs offensive, strength and firepower vs speed and numbers), and, with a lot of the new titles, choose a moral philosphy.
I played a lot of pen and paper RPGs and tabletop games back before video really took off, so I could see getting back into those as well.

I think that would be a very sad loss for us all. Life without the likes of Mario, Snake, even as far as Pac Man lol ( you might not like him or his missus but still everyone knows him)
Then again maybe people might not blame videogameslike GTAfor their kids "surprising and unnatural"violent behaviour. Please. Your kid was born to be a moron if he kills someone with a chainsaw. Don't say you saw Tommy Vercetti do it. You're an idiot lol.
Anyway sorry to rant on but it had to be said.
I would never think of it, not that im a big gamer, but i would have to findanother pass time, my life would be dul without my FPS's and RPG's:P
I've experienced life without games (well, not completely without games, but mostly) this past month since my xbox red-ringed on me. It made me realize that I don't ever want to be without games because being without a 360 for that period of time, especially during a time when so many great games were being released, was really hard. But, I was still pretty occupied with other stuff. If there were no more video games, I would watch alot more anime, read alot more, and spend more time becoming a decent photographer.
what would we all be doing if there wasnt any video games......really what would we do???Big_O2006
Oh god no video games thats what hell would be for me.
