Or games where bodies don't disappear for a LONG time? There's nothing I hate more in a game than killing an enemy turning around and turning back and it be gone! Add titles that keep the corpses in there to this thread.

Hehe, this kinda reminds of Painkiller and that cheat which stops bodies from vanishing into orbs, it was kinda fun in a very twisted way to see all the bodies pile up after a hectic fight.

There's the Max Payne games, even the bullets and magazines will stay right where you left them, which is neat.

Other games leave them but eventually the disappear if you leave the area too long or whatever. The Fallout and Elder Scrolls games this generation also keep bodies where they are, unless you leave the area for a few days or something.

in the original deus ex, bodies stay around for a long time and accumulate flies. its a pretty neat way of showing the consequences of your actions in a game where killing is more often a choice than a necessity.

the gibbed remains of enemies in dragon age: origins stay around for a while too. im pretty sure that you can run out of enemies before going into the final mission. its more of a way for the game to tell you that its listening than a moral guide like in deus ex, but its a nice touch anyway.

Almost any stealth game. Corpses tend to noticed, and also tend to cause guards to go looking for the killer (you).

Dark Souls. To make it even worse, if you heal yourself at a bonfire, all the enemies you killed come back to life.

The Fallout games, I think the bodies disappear from time to time, but generally they seem to stay around for long amounts of time. I still see the dead body I put on the "Novac" sign in New Vegas on one of my files.

Elder Scrolls & Fallout games. Generally the bodies will stay there even if you travel across the map. You can come back days or weeks later & bodies can still be found.

Splinter Cell & Hitman also dont have disappearing bodies.

Not sure about the originals or even in Double Agent, but in Conviction, bodies do disappear after a period of time.

It would make sense for it to be that way in Conviction.

In the previous games any unconscious bodies would stay wherever you left them until you move onto the next level. I think it is the same for any dead bodies as well.

The line of Total War games also leave an awful lot of dead bodies behind.
