I'm curious to see what others have that I may not. List the games in your collection that you believe are rare and be sure to list their condition as well. If they are a Greatest Hits be sure to list that as well. Also, if you can, be sure to include if they have the cover and the instructiion manual. There are no limits to the platforms you list. As for me, all the games I'm listing include both the cover and instruction manuals, with the exception of a few which I listed specifically. I have:

GC:

Ikaruga (Thanks to my good friend), mint condition

Pikmin 2, Players Choice, good condition, just a few cosmetic scratches but works just fine

Tales of Symphonia, Players Choice, virtually brand new condition, haven't been played yet

Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, mint condition

Legend of Zelda: Collectors Edition, very good condition with some very minor scratches

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest, mint condition

PS2:

Zone of the Enders: 2nd Runner, mint condition

Ico, near mint condition

Okami, mint condition

Odin Sphere, mint condition

Persona 3: FES, mint condition

Xenosaga 3, mint condition

Tales of the Abyss, mint condition

Disgaea, mint condition

Guilty Gear X2, mint condition

DS:

Advance Wars Dual Strike, mint condition

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, mint condition, the original cover and not the Konami greatest hits crap

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, mint condition, I listed it because I have it with the preorder bonus, which can net alot of moolah on ebay if sold together

GBA:

Tactics Ogre, good condition with a few scratches on the sticker, no manual or box

Super Robot Taisen 2, virtually brand new, comes with box and manual

PS1:

Final Fantasy Tactics, Greatest Hits, very good condition with a couple minor scratches

Chrono Cross, near mint condition, only first disc has a couple minor scratches, I know it's not very rare but I guess the black label does it some justice

Final Fantasy Anthology, near mint condition, Greatest Hits, some minor scratches on the FF6 disc, again not very rare but what the heck

Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter, very good condition with a few minor visible scratches, this is the big one in my collection, right now it can fetch more money than Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 for the PS2. Don't believe me? Check amazon or ebay.

I believe that's it. I'll list some more if I forgot some of them.

Yeah, Persona 3 FES isn't really rare, as it is a remake and readily avaliable at Wal-Mart. xD

PS1: Tactics Ogre, Final Fantasy Tactics (black label), Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, Suikoden I

PS2: Marvel Vs. Capcom 2

Those are the game that I'd consider rare, I'm sure there are other games in my collection that people would say are rare.

I listed Persona 3 FES since I have a hunch that it will be one of those games in the future that people will start hunting, and the fact that it's Atlus we are talking about. On top of that, it was an improved version of an already succesful game, and the fact that some people will overlook FES because they already have the original may add to my speculation of FES becoming rare in the future.

Yes, I understand that some people see that some of the games in my collection are very rare, but I specifically stated what YOU personally think are rare. This is determined by many factors, such as the hardship you had to go through to find the game. Another factor is that I look at the prices at amazon and ebay and make my theories from there. So that's that, just wanted to give my two cents. A good list I'm seeing so far.

I got rid of all my rare games about a year ago cause I needed the money. But I think the rarest game I've ever owned would have to be something like Marvel Vs. Capcom for the PS1. But as far as my collection now I'm not really sure. Nothing really jumps out at me. But then again I'm not really sure what is defined as a rare game. Because there's some games that are considered rare, but not very good games. And then some people consider games rare cause their still sealed.

GAWD I love that game!!! Absolutely, hands-down, the BEST horror game out there. Other games claim to simulate halucinations, they play at going crazy and representing it aurally and visually, but this game had me looking twice at the walls sometimes. Control is perfect, they out ResEvil the RE series in terms of proper camera (it never really seems to through you like the RE games did/do - I still love them, but ED is better)... and they really touch on some great Lovecraftian stuff that resonates with me still. I will keep my GC forever in good condition for that one game alone.

But I was going to add my mint, in the box copy of SNES "Super Godzilla", my GBA "Pinball of the Dead", "Ecks vs. Sevre" FPS (with an actual functioning sniper rifle!), "DOOM", "DOOM II", & "Wolfenstein 3D" GBA carts, "R/C Stunt 'Copter" for the PSOne...

I'm impressed by the original "Resident Evil" in the long-box format packaging... niiiice.
