Hello everyone. I'm new to VR and looking to get some games. Some are obvious to me like Super Hot, Beatsaber, Onward, Pavlov and a few others. but many games seem like tech demos or like good games with little content. are there any that compare well to traditional games that have 20hr stories or enough multiplayer stuff for 50+ hours other than the games I mentioned? Thanks

Crazy Doll Smash Attack looks interesting.

What they need to do (VR HQ) is port Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice and just make it like a ride at an amusement park with no controls at all.

That is the only sensible direction for consumer VR entertainment.

Whole movies could be made in this fashion.

I recently heard that the New Harry Potter game coming out this year is VR, I'm pretty excited and interested in it when it comes out.

If you like flight sims, DCS World is pretty incredible. Elite: Dangerous is one of the best VR titles out there as well.

I agree with your sentiment that a lot of VR games seem like tech demos, but they're usually A.) cheap and B.) a lot of fun nonetheless.

Battlezone is also great, especially with a friend.

House of the Dying Sun was an early VR game that is still one of the best. It's basically a first-person, space-sim version of Homeworld. Great audio.

Like ninjas? Like Cyberpunk? Gotta try Sairento! It's a little rough still, but insanely fun.

I just realised. The rail shooter is a good genre for this platform. Are there any of these kinds of games?
