Looking for a game

So, I'm looking for a game like the Anime QUAN ZHI GAO SHOU(The King's Avatar).

And if you havn't seen the anime, the game is kinda like an MMORPG with monsters and stuff in it, but It's the combat that i'm interested in, I want the combat to be skill based, so not like evey other mmorpg out there, if you have good gear you shit on people. I want it to be that even if you're not geared up to max you can still be the best. And when you fight it requires combos and chain-attacks, and less press a hot-key to use an ability.

If you know of any game like that name it pls :)

Personally i have not seen that anime, but first thing that comes to mind is 'For Honor', a problem is it does not have monsters, But the combat is 100% skill based, Has skill chains kind of light Mortal Kombat and gear doesn't really matter unless you play domination type gamemodes, its worth a try if you overlook the bad reviews the game has received on steam.

I have tried out For honor in the beta, and TBH it became boring after a while.

Will give it a try but I don't think an app will do it for me :)

It sounds like Asheron's Call might have fit the skill-based MMO itch you are trying to scratch.

I never played the game before, but I guess it shut down after 17 continuous years this past December. A pity, I would have liked to try it.
