I don't know. So why am I posting? Well, it made me think about Sly 3. There was one level that had some of the most fun pirate action in any game that I've tried since Monkey Island. It would be lots of fun if there was a pirate game that used that level as their starting point, it would be tonnes of fun!

The best thing I can thin of is Pirates: The Legend of Blok Kat for the original xbox. I don't know if it's playable on the 360, though.

Apart from that, I don't know of any pirate games, besides Pirates of the Carribean.

The dancing portion (if you choose to do it) becomes increasingly frustrating over time, but overall the ship battles, looting, invading ports is pretty fun.

Sid Meier's Pirates! Is pretty much the best out there. You can go and do whatever you want virtually as soon as you gain control over your ship. It's also fun, pretty massive, and doesn't require a powerful computer to fully enjoy.

Sid Meier's Pirates is the safe bet.

However, I'm more of a Pirates of the Caribbean fan myself. The company that made it has another game coming out soon as well. It's going to be called Age of Pirates 2: City of Abandoned Ships.

Port Royale 1 and 2, Patrician 3, Sid Meier's Pirates!, Pirates of the Burning Sea, The Guild 2: Pirates of the High Seas (wouldn't recommend this game), and theres a mod for Halife 2 (or maybe it was UT 2k4) where your teams plays air pirates on a ship while trying to sink the enemy ship. Forgot the name of it, though.
