Hi,

I'm conducting a research about how different gamer's play the same game in a different way. But I've come across a problem, all the games I've found are M-rated (17-18+ years of age) and I am looking for a game that is:

A) Rated for ages 13 and up.

B) Interesting enough that 13-18 year old's will play it for a few weeks for a couple dozens of hours.

C) Games that have a component of decision-making that effects the game plot or gameplay, e.g. killing (or not) a character, rushing through or accomplishing all the optional sub-objectives, stealth or head-on, and so on…

D) Keeps a good, elaborated stats, such as game progress, objectives accomplished, and some sort of documentation about the decision making process in the (B) criteria.

E) The game must be able to run on a PC by steam or some other similar platform.

The games I found so far that worked for me on all parameters but the age category (they were rated M) were: Skyrim, Dishonored and GTA4.

I would be really thankful if someone could help out, as many options as possible would be appreciated…

I know it's a bit of a challenge…

Thank you.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, they are both rated teen and have decision-making that effects the game plot and gameplay, they are also found on steam and offer many hours of play.

Well, you're in luck my friend. Nowaday's that would be held by Nintendo. Aliens: Infestation, Fire Emblem: Awakening, The Legend of Zelda games, If we're allowed to go back into the past, Jak and Crash Bandicoot, Uncharted, Beyond Good and Evil, Grim Fandango, the list is huge, but right now, you're best bet is Nintendo.

Thanks!

Tokeism - Although good directions, they are both a bit old... they look a bit old and I'm not sure I can get kids to play with them... any more on that direction, but maybe newer?

crispy - not sure what you mean... that games running on Nintendo would help me? if so, I can't use nintendo.... have to run on PC.
Re the old games - I completely agree :-)

Dude honestly anything that nintendo puts out is what you're looking for, just pay gamestop.com a visit and check out the wii section. However you may want to give Force unleashed 2, Viva pinyata and the skylanders series out.
