Finished Day of the Tentacle on my PS4 this evening, and really had a great time. Already did Grim Fandango remastered. Anyone have some fun suggestions for more games of this sort? I also have a good gaming PC, but would prefer on PS for the lay-back-on-the-couch factor.

Thanks in advance!

Broken Sword 5 is pretty good. It's the fifth in the series, but it don't think it important to know the previous games. I just played through Yesterday Origins. It was good. If you like more humorus adventures you should check out Broken Age. It's from Tim Schafer, the guy behind Grim Fandango.

Broken Age doesn't get enough love but it's a great adventure game.

Broken Age was a great game! I really enjoyed it. The Deponia series is great too. Really funny and interesting, but be prepared to be frustrated as the puzzles can be a little aggravating.

I recently finished LIMBO and it was fun. I'd also reccomend Inside, Never Alone, The Swapper, and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. I haven't gotten to play it yet, but I heard Gravity Rush was good too.

@xantufrog: If you're into horror, I would highly recommend The Cat Lady and Downfall on Steam. Both are terrific adventure games with great writing and stories.

@bussinrounds: I haven't even played half of those and I really should. I agree with the recommendations for the ones I've played.

However I've recently read articles about the old Sierra games and how bad they really were. They were very important for the industry and pioneered graphics and sound innovations but they had little to no QA and were made by people who didn't understand and appreciate game design, making them unfair and frustrating. Not all of them but still a lot. Lucas Arts on the other hand made some real classics.

Thanks for all the suggestions folks! I definitely have stuff like Gravity Rush on my list, but for this thread was thinking more in the point-and-click (even if not literally) genre of adventure game. Just chill quirky stuff like DotT and Grim Fandango. Some great stuff to get me thinking. I'm leaning towards Broken Age right now
