Madden 08 Help Please

I have the xbox 360 version i remember when you used to be able to highliht a defender and if you clicked right on the right thumbstick he would doa certain zone etc, it was a defenseive hot route. Now i notice they have the defensive playmaker buttong where you hit A and then pretty much have the same choices, BUT there is this new smartzone where the coverage will extend to ike the first down marker and the circle is red and normally you would hit up 2 times o the right thumbstick to get it but that does not work anyone have any ideas or is tha just the xbox version

Hmmmm. I thought you had to press the other thumbstick?

but what do I know, I only have the crappy PS3 version (I will never forgive EA (unless they make Army of Two AND Spore exclusive to PS3 and not X-Box 360....even if Spore is currently a PC exclusive))

I have X-BOX 360 and I was wondering how can I save a game in Franchise mode if I am not finished. Like saving at half time?
