Majoras mask, played it for a few hours, my first impressions.

So Majoras Mask came in the mail today, I popped it in the N64 and played it for a bit. As I said before I loved the characters in oot and this game lives up to that. The graphics seem to be a bit better but not that noticable. I also didn't know it was going to be a direct sequel. The time doesn't bother me that much but is there any way to slow it down? It goes so fast... I didn't have any trouble finding those kids in the beginning. I don't think I did any side stuff yet but I don't know if there is any in clocktown and I bet I am wrong. I just followed what navi said and went out of clocktown after I got my deku mask and went to the swamp area. I love the music, the characters even better then oot (and I just started). I am now up to the deku palace and I am wondering, am I gonna have to use a walkthrough? I really hope I don't I do not like using walkthroughs. Another q, do you guys like using walkthroughs?

As of now, the game is well worth the money I payed. I payed over 100 dollars for a brand new copy! I am gonna keep this in good condition.

it the hardest 3d zelda lot of people hated it because of the time system, but with the 2 secret songs of time you have no more problems

The song of inverted time slows down time. IIRC it's the song of time backwards so

down, a, right, down, a, right

I didn't have a problem in ocarina in the temples, only of knowing where to go. Is majoras mask like that? Or the temples are harder? So far its kinda easy to know where to go.

the 1st is easy the 2nd and 3rd are medium and the last one is really trick and has a lot of puzzle, really hard to do whitout a guide

That's about what it goes for new, given it's mostly for collectors. I think since he was planning on playing it, he should have bought it used, but some people like al their games new, even retro games.

There is an inverted Song of Time, TC. It slows down time so I think you get like 3 times as long per 3 day cycle. (Don't quote me on that.) You literally play the song of time backwards.

Also, glad to see you're enjoying it. It's such an amazing experience. (I almost NEVER use that word to describe a game. As a matter of fact, I hate using it.)

You can speed up time, too. Just double up on the notes.
