I'm probably the only one that can relate. I think I played a ton of these. Oh my gosh I can't believe how much of my childhood I've forgotten.

Of particular note I remember Hercules: The something Journey. You know the one with Kevin Sorbo? I had that game and played it cross-country as a kid.

Also a Spider-Man one. I'd post pics but I don't think they exist.

What are those contraptions called?

I had the battletoads one, and i had this weird pokemon pinball one that worked only with LED red lights, that was pwnage, I still got it up in my cottage in michigan.

I also remember 5 or 6 years backwhen mcdonalds had the sonic little portable games it was the first time I got a happy meal in a while, just for the games :P

I remember I had a few of these growing up. But then when I got my first Gameboy...well...it was all over then. I remember having that thing with me constantly.

Sounds like the Tiger R-Zone. This ad still cracks me up. "Fist-in-your-face reality!"

I had a ninja turtles one that talked, some radioshack one with robot dinosaurs, and a little mario one that you wore on your wrist like a watch. My neighbor had a megaman one.

yeah those things were great (back then). I had the green Ninja Turtles one (and maybe double dragon...) I then got the Ninja Gaiden watch game (this one i think)

ninja gaiden watch game

Then I got my Atari lynx (and ninja gaiden for that) and stopped playing the cheap handheld games. but for a little while they were a cheap fun alternative to gameboy.

oh my gosh this is so embarrassing... now keep in mind that I can be a bit obsessive when I want to collect things, but

I had every single one of those games. There was the blue Sonic one (that I forcefully took from my cousin), a black Shadow one, red Knuckles, yellow Tails etc and I actually took my brother's happy meal toys trying to get every single one of them.

Heck I even lined them up on my desk and glorified my "treasure collection". When I saw this topic I actually thought about those but didn't bring it up.

I just picked up Pinball by Tiger Electronics from 1987 for a few $ on Ebay, because I remembered how much fun I had with it as a kid. And as an added bonus it pre-dates the original Gameboy, so it's kind of collectible.

I remember as a young kid that I use to have a Lion King one, a Snoopy game (From the Peanuts comic strip and cartoon), and a Pinball as well. But to be honest I use to hate them. They were very boring and a waste of my time. I would just play on my gameboy since it had actual fun games. Sorry but that is how I use to feel about them.

I remember having a Baseball like those when I was kid. It could have been Tiger that made it. I really had fun with it. I think I also used to have Power Rangers as well.
