Has anyone played this game?I saw it the other day on GBA and wondered if it was a good mario game or not, I've seen pictures of it but is it RPG? or a straightforward platformer?

could someone tell me what its like?

It's an RPG in that you have turn-based battles, you level up, and such. It's got a nice timed-battle system too. You also adventure through the world just like you would in a platformer. You overcome obstacles, and puzzles to progress.

I'd go as far as too say it's probably my favorite GBA game.

Well, you time your attacks to do maximum damage on the enemy, and you can also time special attacks as well, or attacks that both Mario and Luigi do together.

You also time the enemies attacks, and attempt to dodge them.

I really like it.

treedoor has explained it well. I'd highly advise finding a copy of the game...it's a LOT of fun! Good Luck! :P:P

It's a really fun game, I still enjoy playing it every now and then. It has a bit of Mario-style platforming thrown in with amazing RPG gameplay and a fun story.

So it's like kill-the-boss-in-one-hit-or-lose-the-game kinda thing?

If you ever played Paper Mario on the Gamecube or N64, it's pretty much the same thing, but with both Mario AND Luigi. It's good, but the atmosphere sort of got to me...everything smiles in it. EVERYTHING! XD
