Birdo.... my nemesis.
I haven't played any Wii games online yet, but I'm having doubts about the potential lag with the Wi-Fi and all. Half the time I'm trying to d/l VC games the Wi-Fi is down. Is there an ethernet port on the Wii? I never checked lol.
And wasn't SSBB confirmed in some magazine to be online enabled? Where did I read this...?

You can buy a LAN adapter to plug into one of the USB ports that you can use for a wired connection. I have one and it works great. I think that SSBB story was in some Japanese magazine, not sure though.

The thing about the Wii is for me is that I always have it online, there is no messing around with routers, losing my internet connection, having to powercycle blah blah blah like I do with my 360, with this I turn it on and its always connected wirelessly...its just begging for some online action. I also want to see a more unified online infrastructure like Live but one step at a time....

Wi-Fi routers typically transmit at 54Mb/s, that's not going to create a bottleneck.I haven't played any Wii games online yet, but I'm having doubts about the potential lag with the Wi-Fi and all.
