I just recently bought Mercenaries 2 for the pc. When I installed it it said I needed a shader 3.0 video card which I don't have. I asked my mom if I could download it on her 1 month old Vista but she is worried it will mess up her computer. Will It?
What are you actually asking? Whether or not you will be able to download some kind of videocard to your mom's computer or whether or not you can download the game to your mom's computer? I'll just assume the latter: why don't you just install the game on her computer if you already bought it? If you bought it online, why would the game mess up her computer? The only thing that could be dangerous would be to acquire the game through illegal means and then install it on her computer.

FIXED, now listen the game it self has broken aiming and rivign unless you use a gamepad, if you don't have English version of English it cant save, i had problems with graphics settings either or full or it lag on any setting and looked the same, as for the game its a short crap with awful and broken buggy gameplay full of awful enemy and vehicle spawning triggers and few crappy missions with the story dissapearing after the first 1 hour and the game turning into crap, no fun no ai no gameplay its the biggest disappointment i ever played, most missions are about taking stuff from point A to point B without falling off th car and failing the mission, anybody heard that you can tie them down so they wont fall? plus you got to do it in a specific amount of time and and the game spawns vehicles that can blow you up right away, eg a helicopter chases me and blows my vehicle with a missile so i try again and i destroy that helicopter and 2 more appear i blow them up and two more and two more... :shock: WHAT CRAP IS THIS? so after that how you call it? hmm it annoyed me with broken and cheap scripts plus the bugs and the glitches that you or the enemies cant shoot..so yeah annoying garbage not worth a buy...

i just explained why its so crap, i WAS one of the people who wanted to paly the game and didnt believe anyone but i cant tell you tis broke and unplayable in any way bbut i doubt you even read my spot....
