metroid prime gamecube questions

i wanted to know how big the game is. I would say I played around 12 hours and got 16% complete. yeah im taking my time lol. So how long do you think it take me if I go at this rate.

Also I just ordered metroid prime ecohes is that one is good as the first one

and also how good is the metroid prime for super nintendo.

im new to the series as you can tell lol

My first run took me about 30 hours, and I didn't even get all of the items. Now I can run through the game in about 3 hours, though I'd love to beat it in less than 2 hours sometime.

There's no Metroid Prime for the SNES. There's Super Metroid, but the only Prime games are on the DS, Wii, and GCN. Here's a list of the games (since I have them all):

Metroid Prime: Hunters (Nintendo DS)

I highly recommend all of them. 2 and 4 are different from 1 and 3, as they're a bit more linearthan the others. Also Prime: Hunters is different since it plays more like a First Person Shooter than an adventure game. However, it does have online multiplayer over Wi-Fi, which is a bit of a plus.
