Heck yes, try killing THE END, the first time while he's sleepingShadownheroJoe
ah hah, yea I've done that. There's a nice little surprise that comes at you when you do that.
As far as replaying it, go for it. I've personally played through it at least 7 times now; each time just as entertaining since you can progress through areas a different way each playthrough if you want.
Cool... try this then:
During the battle against The End you can capture his parrot using the tranquiliser darts. (If I remember right it can be found on top of the little shack with the sniper rifle in) Be careful though, after one shot anywhere on the map the parrot flies away so you have to get it right first time! It makes The End get really annoyed too which is great!
i vaguely remember the part where you can kill the end before actually fighting him (aren't they rolling him in a wheelchair while he sleeps?) does that require a perfectly executed headshot? i know you dont have much time to pop him, i remember that much. z4twenny
From what I remember its very hard. I never could do it :(
i think all you have to do is snipe him,(use a svd) anywhere. Then sit back and laugh as he explodes,(watch out for the flying wheelchair though). Ow...
I'm pretty sure all you have to do is shoot at the barrels and they'll explode... then you have to quickly move out of the way...
Any super secert stuffs? :Dmohan88
Have you unlocked either the Stealth camo or the Infinity face paint? They really made some of my replays really fun. The stealth camo truly cloaks you; just like what The Fear was like during that battle. The IFP gives you unlimited ammo for everything, including grenades. Oh the possibilities with fooling with all the guards with these items.
Also, did you know that you can actually light someone on fire with the torch?

I beat MGS3 and never got stealth camo. How do you get it? Do you have to play on a certain difficulty level?

There are two ways to get it. 1) hit every kerotan (those toy frogs) in the game. There's one in just about every area in the game; even during the motorcycle sections... and 2) go through the entire game without getting any alerts. Not a single one.
Thats so hard. So if I miss a frog on a mortcycle then I have to load the game and try again?
nVidiaGaMer
Yep. Keep in mind that you can save your game after each section, so if you miss one along the way you don't have to re-do the whole thing (and reshoot every frog on the way to where you missed). Yes, that's right... there are several frogs during the motorcycle sections. Basically everytime you get a loading screen for a new area, there's going to be a frog in the area.

I'll also add that the motorcycle ones are THE hardest ones to hit since you are constantly moving during most sections. The rest are fairly easy since you have all the time in the world to find and hit them (and some are hidden fairly well too).

Great!, with the frist boss comming up(Ocelot) i have not hit any frog yet nor i have not gone through the entire game without getting any alerts.Time to restart the whole game again................. Time Padox. :DOne super secret stuff in MGS3 is saving the game, turning off the ps2 and the reloading your game, when you are locked in the cell. I'm not sure if it's required to get paramedics info about bats before doing this, but it may be a requirement. You get fed a bat, so I guess you can just radio her when you get it.... if it's a requirement.
Don't remove the transmitter for a special scene....
put eva in a choke hold and interigate her.... by holding down the L3 button and keeping it held down. Open up the medic screen and cycle to eva's injury list to see all the medical stuff that she's been through.
make a codec call to everyone after you knock out ocelots and party in the first part of the game, for an explanation of what Snake meant, about the special loading trick Ocelot was trying to pull off... This can only be done in that area, once you leave that area you'll never see this explaination. Make codec calls after the boss battle with ocelot, as well for knowledge of his parents.
If you exit the game during the END battle and advance the PS2's clock ahead a few weeks, you'll be treated to something.
Press R1 during the final scene with Boss, and you'll see something.... R1 icon does not pop up for this, either.
I don't know, there are a few others.... there is a frog camo in the game that will help you with the frog shooting... the camo is in the swamp part, where you can be eaten by 'gaters while swimming. Just dont' remember exaclty where in the water it's located....or if it's just there on a second playthru and not the first.
