● EA's cooperative shooter Army of Two: The 40th Day has new media for consumption. (T, I, V)
● Yeah, Platinum Games' Bayonetta has plenty of T&A to go along with your Kamiya badassery. (V)
● Bioware's Mass Effect 2 looks incredible, and is sure to fix many of the problems people had with the first if the trailer is anything to go by. (V, T)
● Rockstar announces Grand Theft Auto IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony as part of their DLC exclusivity deal for Microsoft. (P, Lo, T)
● Bioshock 2 has a firm release date of November 3rd. (L)

A lot of awesome stuff listed for the conference already so with this plus any surprises it should be an excellent showing. I'm definitely interested in all things Halo. Really looking forward to Bayonetta and Tekken 6.

Mass Effect 2 is a huge game for me, very pumped for that one and can't wait to see more on Bioshock 2.

Hopefully we'll here something on what may be in the next dashboard update.

SOB... I'll be at work during the press conference,oh well. Halo Reach sounds legit I guess it will be based on the novel Fall of Reach. November as always is an insane month, but this could be one of the best Nov. of all time, Bioshock 2- Nov 3rd, Modern Warfare 2- 10th... I think any game should stay away from the 10th or any game related with Blizzard (Starcraft 2) :P

Edit: I want a release date on Dead Rising and specially Lost Planet 2, knowing Capcom it could be Jan-March 2010...

I just cant wait to see how MS screws over Sony this year. Last year's FFXIII announcement caused me to have a major meltdown and I think I'm due for a major one this year as well. :lol:

I'll never play any of the games, but I will watch the conference with interest. I've read little but good about the first Supreme Commander and am interested in seeing SC2 on the X360.

I think it would be damn weird if MS announces yet another Halo game. Its not like the X360 audience has signalled 'If it doesn't have Master Chief, we don't care' (Gears, Left 4 Dead and of course CoD have put up huge numbers). Why not develop an original fps rather than have two Halo games in the pipeline at the same time?

I hope this conference shows me titles that will interest me. I've been really disappointed with the 360 this gen, especially after how much I loved the Xbox, which I found as enjoyable as the PS2. I have a feeling MS will kill it though, now I just have to fall asleep until 1:24pm. F1Lengend

Awesome! That's great news. I wonder how they're going get console users up to speed since they say that Crysis is a trilogy though. I was always very interested in the game so now's my chance to get to play them.

They say it's a straight-up multiplatform game (PC/360/PS3) built on CryEngine 3. If that is indeed true, it's a bit disappointing. I just don't see how could something like Crysis work on consoles which would mean some serious downscaling. Crytek always let on that the future installments in the series would be developed seperately for PC and for consoles. Announcements like these are major suckage, though. Showing games is out,can we expect a Crysis 2 countdown soon?

Believe me, the story in Crysis is about as relevant as an MIT degree is relevant for a modelling career.

- MGS5 or the next MGS would be Multiplatform.

We all know it's coming. What we dont know is how much it's going to suck. Would it be as bad as say The Eye Toy "washing windows" demos or is going to be an EPIC Fail of Wii Music proportions?

I share the common skepticism of the utility of motion control as a control method but there's a chance that some interesting software might be shown. A supercharged version of the PS Eye tank demo would be cool. Eye Pet (another interesting game Sony hasn't yet released) showed 2D drawings being converted into 3D objects, which could have some interesting game applications.

EDIT: As a side note, I'm actually pretty good friends with the guy who's redoing the music for the game, Jesse Harlin - He's a really cool guy, and I'm excited to hear what his reworkings sound like, since they're going with live instruments! :D
