first of all is mirrors edge worth getting second, where can I get it cheap

I actually finished the game this weekend. I kinda liked it. Looks wonderful and you really get a rush out of managing to beat several obstacles in a row without stopping. the downsides are that you will fall and die. A LOT! the storyline isn't very long either, allthough it's quite good while it lasts except that you feel like some parts are missing.
All in all I had a good time with it and it's definitely worth playing. I wouldn't pay full price for it though. then again, I'm kinda cheap.
Get it, no matter what, because it's worthy in anyone's collection. It's a great "showpiece" game to show off to your friends of what current-gen graphics and gameplay can do. The time trials, you can easily sink 10 hours into alone, and I haven't even tried the Map Pack DLC.

Im cheap to. The most expensive game Ive gotten for the 360 is halo 3 for 40 bucks. I usualy get used but halo 3 is a hard game to find a used working game. I think I might wait and see what e3 throughs out there and then whene its like 15 buck used at gamestop Ill get it. I played the demo and it looks like a ... different idea for a game and looks like fun like what was said earlyer It sounds good to have in your collection

it only 20$ on steam unlese you dont got a gaming rig?Mirror's edge is $25 at gamestop, Definitely a good price of admission for a generally entertaining game.Black_Knight_00
Ive kinda desided to get this game. Ill probbably get it at gamestop. I have an edge card and 12 bucks store credit.
A single play through of the game at 5.5 hours was worth the $67 I paid for it. All the replay value was just icing on the cake.
Its a good game with one major flaw. Its short. That in and of itself isnt bad, its just that Dice decided the best way to extend the game's length would be through frustrating trial and error. There are some "cheap" kills that you simply wont avoid the first time through. Often its not very clear where you need to be going or how exactly to get there.
The game is at its most fun when you are out in the open freely running, jumping and climing your way across the city. Chasing people or getting chased is a fun twist to that and the combat isnt half bad. However the game sadly puts you in light puzzle solving situations or requires you to search to find your path through some areas. This breaks the flow of the game a lot for me.
Its not a bad game, I just wish they had stuck with speed run type of gameplay as a whole. I found that aspect to be way more fun then the rest of the game.
Honestly? It's an ok game. It looks and sounds good. It's short though, and you'll need a lot of patience while you tread through the trial and error gameplay. The story isn't really all that interesting either.
The game relies on momentum but it constantly brings it a stop.
The story's short but the replay is incredible, i literally never replay games, it just doesn't interest me, but i played mirror's edge on every difficulty in order and got a bigger adrenaline rush each time. probably my favourite game of last year, you can definitely get it cheap too without looking too hard.
