I am planning on getting a GC soon, and have some questions I haven't been able to find answers to elsewhere. So, without further ado:

1: Do all games need a memory card to save? Or is it just some games, like Animal Crossing?

2: Regarding Zelda:Four Swords Adventures, I have a GBA, a GBA-GC cable, and a brother who would be playing through it with me. Will we be missing out on anything, not having 2 GBA's?

3: F inal Fantasy Crystal Chronicles:Same thing, would we need 2 GBA's to get the full experience?

4: Are there any graphical differences from OoT:Master Quest, and the Zelda collector's disc?

Thanks in advance for the help!

1. All games require a memory card. There is no internal save device.

2. Nope, not really. It's an okay game, and you don't even need the GBA's.

3. That one I can't recall. You can play the game without them though.

4. Nope, direct ports.

1-yes, all games need a memory card. How much memory they take up and how many cards you will need will be up to you
2-for multiplayer, I think you can use 1 controller and 1 gba, but if all of you had gba's it would make it even better. Save up some money, you can find them for around 30 dollars now and the cord is up to 7 dollars. This game is just asking for everybody to have gba's, so much so that my cousin and I couldm't play together.
3-I haven't played this game, but I know it was huge on the connectivity thing, so assume it would be better with all gba's
4-Direct ports. Control seems better though, but that's just me. Almost every n64 controller I used before had the analog stick worn out. Master quest is fun and kick ass too,

Hope that helps.

Well, what I was asking was if there were any differences between the 2 for GC, whether the version of OoT in Master quest has any differences (aside from the master quest) from the version in the collector's disc.

1. All games.

2. To get the best out of Four Swords, you need the follwing...4 GBA's, 4 GC-GBA Link cables, and 3 friends who actually have all this crap. But yeah, the game supports 1-4 players, so you can play it, it just won't be as much fun if there's only 2 people. (4 people playing FS together is a BLAST).

3. See above, replacing the title "Four Swords" with "Crystal Chronicles".

4. I don't believe so, no.

Enjoy your GC, its got lots of fantastic games you could probably find for very cheap now...

All games need a save on a memory card, you do need two GBAs to play 2 player Four Swords (with your brother I'm guessing), I never got Crystal Chronicles bot from the resposes of others you probly wont need GBA cables, and Ocarina of Time is better with Master Quest other than Collector's edition which sufferers from some unneeded freezes after saving.

I've been looking around at memory cards, and I am a bit confused. There are 4 sizes, 59, 251, 1019, and 2043(blocks). How many blocks would a saved game take? I think I'm leaning towards the (1st party) 1019 card. I will be getting a good amount of games, and I don't want to have to choose which saves I need to delete, would the 1019 suit my needs?
