I'm going for 10 the show, especially since it will have homerum derby now, i don't think 2k10 will even get close, if you want a baseball game get the show, anyone agree?

Why would any buy 2k10? They haven't made a good one in awhile so its hard for me to be excited about the new one.

mlb 2k10 will be really good this year but the show will still probably be better. i'm going with mlb 2k10 since it looks much improved and i prefer the controls although the show will probably be more polished. Plus it helps i only have a 360. Visual concepts have completely revamped 2k10 over 2k9 though so those of you saying it will suck will be surprised. game informer has a blog on it and they love it so far.

MLB10 the Show because I have a PS3. I guess my friend who has a 360 will be getting MLB 2k10, I can't wait to try both.

The MLB 2k series = joke. MLB the show is the one thing PS3 owners can be thankful for.

MLB The Show is a polished simulation but the game "feels" identical to version '08, '07, '06, dating back to the PS2 days.

There's something to be said for MLB 2Ks "fresh" approach to the genre. I like using the right stick to pitch and hit, and there was a solid foundation in MLB 2K9 ... the game just needed a lot more polish.

i can agree with that i had 06 back in the day. I played 09 with a friend and it felt like the same exact game. Just polished up.

There is nothing good about MLB 2k series. Also I wish they would start making MVP baseballs again. MLB10 the show should be great though, 09 had the best graphics of any sports game ever.

What people don't seem to realize is that most of us can't afford a PS3 or an X-Box 360. We have PC's, so MLB The Show is not a choice we have. Also you can't reconfigure The Show (like changing uniforms, adding Stadiums, Stadium Ads-original Ads mind you, etc. With a PC you have that power to change it's graphics and it's configuration. Done with MVPMODS.com. Also the game looks better with High End Graphic Cards. So please let us have our MLB 2K Series without any criticism that the game Sucks. Sony has not given us PC users any breaks (Like Madden "NO PC")

So your saying pcs are cheaper? maybe an emachine but other than that i dont see a pc being cheaper than any console, you have to upgrade to keep up with the games, yeah you can change the settings but, why would i want to play it on minimal settings? Thats where pcs get expensive you have to upgrade them, you dont with consoles.

This. Oh god this. the fact that MLB the Show is STILL using button controls for hitting and pitching is nothing but the devs being lazy. I mean it's been five years since the MVP series intorduced analog hitting. It's absurd that The Show fans still eat it up. Pathetic even.

To people who are looking forward to 2K10. It seems that hitting and pitching is now very similar to what MVP did all those years ago.

I like how pushing down on the analog stick and then pushing up results in a home run swing. A simple push up will result in a line drive swing. And a simple nudge left or right gets you to foul off the ball, good for a 2 strike swing. Of course, it remains to be seen how they implement it. Their track record for the past couple of years has been very poor so let's see.
