You should try League of Legends. It's really fun after the tutorial (the tutorial sucks but the game is fun afterwards). And as a bonus, they allow you to join actual tournements that give you actually $$$. You have to download the game though. Here's the website http://signup.leagueoflegends.com/?ref=502ba94ec010e040256566

I would definitely suggest DDO, though I don't know quite what else to suggest since I don't know what you like or don't like and there are some things that I definitely don't like about some, though I never really refuse a free one. Do you care what type of game? There are so many mmos out there, and some are really good, some are okay, and some you should never play, but those are few. I play Mythos, Lineage II, Guild Wars, EQ I and II, DDO and a smattering of others. What are you looking for in genres? Questions like these are always so loaded...

I wouldn't consider that an mmo, though it is a really good game.

K, since you said you played Dragon Age, then yes, definitely DDO. I understand Tera is decent, got good action elements, but you have to pay a fee for play *violently wretches and turns gray-faced.* But again, refer to my other post, dude-named-jackie, 'cause there is a lot of others.

Right now, I am playing a new game called Maestia: Rise of Keledus. I just started over a week ago. I'll update everyone how this game goes.

I too play eRepublik, but if you are interested in maybe sports, Powerplay Manager is a great game, currently you can start as a Soccer or Hockey manager (or both), but in the future they are planning to add few more sports. www.powerplaymanager.com/r1017071

Well, I have been playing league of legends for quite awhile, and I do really much like it. If you would consider joining the game, can you please use my referral link? http://signup.leagueoflegends.com/?ref=5055d3004c780674709206

I suggest Everquest 2. This MMO game has great graphics, lots of features and class options. Here's a review on MMO-Play.com - http://mmo-play.com/rpg-games/everquest-2

The League of Legends is nice and there are lots and lots of people playing it, but I got bored there. Age of Conan is also nice. If you're watching The Big Bang Theory, you might have seen the episode where Penny started playing an MMORPG and got totally addicted. This is the game. Both are free to play but you can get a premium account for a few paysafecard credits, not that expensive. But even the free contents are enough to have fun.

My favorites are D&D Online and LOTR Online. Also Madinogi, if thats how you say it, is a pretty neat game. Liked the combat in it a lot. Aslo if you want something that isn't an MMORPG I would try League of Legends like everyone else suggested, it is very good. If your into shooter MMOs there is always Team Fortress and Combat Arms.

Oh, isn't the League of Legends an MMORPG? I was sure it was... What genre is it then? No critics, mate, just trying to learn better! Not that I say that again and everyone will laugh at me :)

I'm working on a MMORTS called Recyx. You can look (and pre-order) on the Kickstarter page! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/psr/recyx-will-they-find-the-energy-needed Any support would be appreciated!

I have really been enjoying Lord Of The Rings Online (LOTRO). Middle Earth is a great setting for a role-playing game, and the game stays true to the lore from Tolkien's epic story. I like the more realistic graphics, compared to something like WoW, and the community is refreshingly mature and helpful. Good crafting system, too. LOTRO is "free to play", but a lot of the content is locked unless you subscribe, or purchase it from the in-game store. Definitely worth the download to check it out.

I don't know if League of Legends really counts as an MMO, but it is a really great game! As for more traditional MMOs, I have been playing remnant knights. It's kinda anime graphics and a little more on the lighthearted side. The gms are more active than any I've seen in a f2p mmo, they're running little contests and stufff all the time. It's also NOT pay to win, the only things people can buy are like mounts and cosmetic stuff, so you don't feel like you cn't get anywhere if you're not buying stuff.

DC Universe Online : great game to play for free. The solo dungeons and challenges were rather well done.

Age of Conan : Levels 1-20 are a must play. Then the game joins the average MMO. I still had a great time, and they have opened up more for the free players since I played.

Lord of the Rings Online : Physics feel weird when you run and jump around, but I had some fun time with it.

Dungeons & Dragons Online : Liked the puzzles, gave it a more traditional RPG feel over most MMOs.

Family Guy Online : a browser based MMO to waste some time on for the laughs alone.

Beware of the free Pay to Win MMOs. There are many out there where a $15 sub fee would be mere pennies to what these people pay to be competitive.

I would say to definitely consider Guild Wars as it is a great game, would also say you could try out WoW but it is rather expensive and it can get boring rather easily so its an option if you don't mind splashing some cash, alternatively as some people have already suggested here League Of Legends is a great game and it is free there are millions of people playing it at the moment though i do suggest if you play this to take it in moderation, also does take some practise to get good at but it is very fun especially if you have friends playing with you. Good Luck :)
