Deception has a way better Konquest mode: freeroam, lots of unlockables, and side quests.
Armaggeddon has all of the characters ever created and also create-a-character and fatality modes.
oh and Shaolin Monks is an awesome beat-em-up, MK $tyle with fatalities and awesome moves. Great co-op as well.

Ok cool I think I'll get them, now I just have to find them which will be the hard part. Whenever I don't want something I find it everywhere but as soon as I want it, it's nowhere to be found -_-
Rent armaggeddon FIRST to see if you like it. Not many die hard mk fans like it because of the creat a fataliy mode. It's done the same way with every fighter. MK A is good. But not great. The other 2 games are worth it.
YES!!! Deception and Armageddon are great games. I wasn't to much of a fan of Deadliy Alliance but, Deception and Armageddon rekindled the MK flame within!
Deceptions Konquest mode is freaking awesome and a must own game for any MK fan. it does such a wicked job of fleshing out the entire MK universe its awesome. Armageddon is cool because of the create a character and being able to build your own fighting styles and combo's but they also introduced custom fatalities which is just a bunch of random fatality sections that you can string together however you want and they removed ALL individual fatalaties which really sucks. Not to mention custom characters dont have access to some of the custom fatty moves like transition moves where you make the opponent kneel or turn around or lay down.
Both games are worth owning if your an MK fan but just not for the fighting lol.
Soul Calibur 3> DBZ BT2 > MK Armaggedon > the lame stuff like tekken/virtua/bloody roar/street fighter/kof
