The most annoying thing I thing gamers have to deal with is that the download time to the system can take forever. The other thing I find the most annoying is that you well see a game displayed on Tv think it is great go pay $ 60.00 for it and then it turn out to really suck Kedgerton
I personally have never had a problem with dowmloads. They usually only take me from a few seconds to about a minute or two. It alldepends on the quality of your internet connection. As for buying sucky games, don't listen to professional game reviews. Most of them are biased so the site or magazine can sell ads.
Also, in referwence to the thread topic, I would include:
Developers and gaming sites overhyping sequels to hit franchises that fail to deliver.
Developers coming up with great ideas for games, but then falling short due to time or budget constraints.
Selling us games at full retail price and then offering insignificant amounts of DLC for exhorbitant prices.
Hmmm. I was going to say craphole developers who dont playtest their crap and release glitchy games. But....the playstation 2 dual shock controllers are pieces of crap. If a game has free roam then the left stick is used for movement and that means you will be holding it in the up position ALOT which makes it wear out super fast. And they made it so the springs to the stick are not accessable. They are always under the circuit board in the controller. So its not like you can just slap on a new spring and have a 100% controller again. You just have to buy a new one.
...it is also the guys that piss the women off when we are trying to play as well because we are not doing as well as they doKedgerton
bahahaha. I think that happens anytime somebody good is playing with or against a noob. Doesnt have to be boy vs girl. I have that problem of getting pissed at people who arent on my level. Its really dumb to do but I cant help it.
If you want some payback just make him do something your good at and yell at him every time he screws up and then maybe he can sympathize with you more and get mad at you less =P(even though you suck!!) hehehehe.
Being called immature for continuing to play a precious childhood game
Or being called an otaku for playing the Final Fantasy series! WTF?
Lost data.(came to mind cause my XBox hard drive is on it's last leg):?P47Rotguttell me about my ssbm memory got deleted so i sold it
-Those ID codes you have to enter before installing a PC title. Ugh.
-UMDs cracking
-Stupid level design
-Developers over-promising and failing to deliver
-Dead pixels
-Taking long periods of time to get to a destination
-Scrubs
-My lovely Black DS Lite/PSP being a dust magnet
-Cheap enemies
-Being told to go make a sandwich from an NPC
-Gnomes. Don't ask why.
1. Having to buy points cards....or having that weird amount of points left that can buy you nothing. I also don't like how PSN only takes credit cards. I wish we could use debit cards like they do on Euro PSN
2. The fact that trophies are shown as a percentage rather than an overall score a la achievements.
3. The constant fear of the red ring
4. The lack of Wii storage
5. Imperfect backwards compatibility on 360 and, to some extent, PS3s
6. Region locking on Wii. I'm a Canadian in the UK and I want that Disaster game....it's right there but i can't have it!
7. How expensive everything is.
8. Rushed games.
1) dodgy memory card slot
2) people on tv who say things like "GTA causes crime"
3) dodgy control pads and consoles that are on their last legs
1) the fact that I have to work to support my gaming habit
2) The fact that I have to sleep early to get up bright and early for work (hard core gamers know what a day at work is like after a all nighter on a really deep and good game)
3)My wife wanting me to spend more time with her
4) the fact that the PS3 wont allow you to play your own songs while playing (the whole XMB letdown thing)
real life. it has poor graphics, terrible gameplay and the world is under developed. the developer needs to give this "life" thing a serious patch. or maybe if i put more effort in itll be more rewarding? nah thats silly talk.
broken hardware. it happens, not much u can do about it (except return it for a replacement of course) but its still annoying.
broken DRM: please believe me big evil games industry...im not a criminal...im not. im a good boy.
games released unfinished. lookin at u vampire bloodlines. and then the dev closes down. the guy who makes the unofficial patches for it is a saint. somewhat understandable to need patches on the PC, but its sad to see them on consoles now too.
1. People who think games like GTA are responsible for kids shooting up their schools.
2. People who think that if you're a gamer, you must be a socially retarded nerd who lives in their mom's basement.
3. "Disc is unreadable," the red ring of death, and any other hardware problems.
4. Other gamers being sore losers. It's sad how impossible it is to find anyone online for GH or Rock Band that'll actually finish a song if they're losing.
5. Being broke because everything is too expensive. Then having to listen to everyone talk about all the cool new games and mope because you're broke and can't get any of them.
1. Not having enough money to buy the latest games .
2. The Red Ring of Doom.
3. Parents telling you to get off at 5 in the morning because your completely glued to the TV.
4. Having a power-cut when you haven't saved the game in a while so you have to start again.
5. People telling you to come play a game with them as soon as you get on Live.
