The first Phazon seed boss in Metroid Prime 3 Corruption on Hyper difficulty... I just gave up on playing the game on Hyper after experiencing that... :?
Omg, this game is HARDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.
Silver coin challenges were bad enough, but then you have to race against WIZPIG and his overpowered car. You have to hit EVERY booster on the course, otherwise you'd have to start again. And to hit it RIGHT, you have to let go of the accelerator as you touch the booster.
The final boss in Samurai Shodown V. Absolutely cheap and impossible to beat. I even played on the easiest difficulty and yet he was still impossible.
I think the devs. made him like that on purpose to tick people off. It shows because in Samurai Shodown VI, he was dumbed down and less cheap and I could beat him everytime.
The last boss in Ninja Gaiden, I only had one Elixir left and a full health bar. After the first 10 tries I was calmed but then I started getting agrivated and it became harder for me to beat him.
I mostly play handheld games, so my most frustrating boss was Dullahan in Golden Sun 2 on hard mode. I think he had about 24,000 HP, and healed 200 HP every turn I didn't kill him. It wasn't really frustrating, just long and tedious.
The final boss in Shinobi (Hiruko). When I got to him in my first run of the game, I think it took me over 4 hours to beat him... And even after I became experienced I find it really hard to beat him on Super difficulty, he's just too much.
