Most 'Generic' Game Character (IYO)?

In your opinion?

I think Ryu from Street Fighter series.

looks like a dull bulky guy in a karate uniform.

Also,

compared to..

^you can't even see his whole face and he looks more interesting.

Though Nintendo gets mad props for creating some serious icons throughout the years, I gotta say Kirby is pretty damn generic in my opinion. Some decent games though.

Although I like the character, I think Isaac Clarke from the Dead Space series looks generic. There's nothing distinct in facial features that makes him look interesting, unlike a character like John Marston for example.

Nathan Drake. ever have I seen such a one dimensionally stupid character. That and some of the co stars in the uncharted games are rather dull and dumb. The games are great but I wouldn't say they have the best characters

Not as generic as some other characters, but damn.. they remind me of those arrogant meatheads at the gym that grunt extremely loud. Lol

He's still a fantastic character though, especially in the second one with the better voice actor and all. Anywho, generally any overly gruff character from a military shooter gets my vote on being generic.koospetoors

I wouldn't know, I have only heard his Spanish voice(I don't like it), but I really liked InFamous it's very entertaining game and makes you feel powerful. :)

Well, considering the player decides what Shepard looks like, that's kind of the point...

I always hated the criticism that Uncharted characters aren't deep or anything. It's because they didn't attempt to make them deep. Uncharted is meant to be this great fun adventure. Do you think Indiana Jones was a deep character? No. And yet it's one of the most enjoyable films on earth. There is a bit of history between characters; both in UC and IJ, but it never stops being fun.

Any guy from Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, Battlefield...

The simplicity of Ryu's design is part of why he's such an iconic character. Just throw on a white outfit, black belt, add a red headband for contrast, and there we have ourselves a badarse who can beat you to a pulp with his bare fists.

Anyway, I'll just go with Snow from FFXIII since I can't think of anything right now.

just take a blackbelt from a dojo.add muscle and put him in a game.

Nothing is wrong with this, but its not all that interesting to me.

Wow I am suprised that no one has yet to mention Starkiller from Force Unleashed yet, or that is just me. Starkiller and his actor just annoyed me and I found him very uninteresting I would rather watch paint dry that watch his charatcer development. Same thing with Sam Worthington in Black Ops and in general with his acting and his annoying a** scream he always does.
