Could be online, offline, a boss fight or a simple head crab. What's the most statsfying enemy to kill, be it the crunch they make when they die or the shear difficultly of downing that final boss in a raid?

I'll start with my favorites.

1. Nothing even compares to defeating an online opponent in an online RTS, just knowing you out smarted, out played, and out gunned him. Because it's usually 1 on 1 , no one to rely on but yourself, and knowing your going home with either a win or a lose, winning RTS online such a great feeling.

2. SoTC - Any of the Colusses.

3. The Experimental Units in Supreme Commander - It's so awesome playing a 2 on 2 online game and a monkey lord appears, your team has to concentrate on downing this practical RTS boss. Feels good to take it down.

4. Main Assassination Targets in Assassain's Creed - Such planning goes into getting these kills, it's great one everything goes right and you shove your hidden blade into your prey. Also, the regular enimies are pretty awesome to kill with a counter.

5. Hunters - These guys are pretty threating and can take you down pretty easily. They are always fun to take down, since they put up a good fight, but don't feel as setup as taking down a Strider. (HL2 Ep 2 BTW)

6. Andross from Star Fox 64 - I was 7 years old. Never been happier to see a monkey face blow up.

Online RTS's are deffinetly number one....Winning online is probably the best gaming sensation I ever get....

Unlike FPS's...you didnt just get lucky, or outclick them...you actualy outsmarted them.

i can't say i share the same feeling about big daddies. a whole serving of electric seemed to take them down just fine, keeping them stunned the whole time... just made electric gel at every U invent. it was on hard too

berserkers in gears were nice tho, especially the last one in the greenhouse

The sadistic little rat in me always loves seeing in any strategy game, a mega powerful unit destroying a very weak unit. Case in point, using megatanks to destroy infantry in Advance Wars

Oh yea, how could I forget Big Daddies? Even if they are not as hard as they seem, it' still alot of fun.

It's got to be Jinpachi in Tekken 5. I am sure there are a lot of hardcore players who will say he was easy but I found him to be so cheap. Even thinking about him makes me feel annoyed!

Defeating an opponent in WoW that obviously has better gear than you is the best feeling in the world.

Alot of the boss endings and some enemy fatalities from the God of War games.
It's also always awesome to pull off something cool in an online game. Sadly, i've very seldom won in RTS games online, so i don't have much to say about that :P

I was a WoW raider for a time and to me, nothing compares to finally downing a difficult raid boss after weeks of work with your guildmates and hearing everyone cheer over Ventrillo. As far as single player, I'd have to say the final boss of Shinobi for PS2. Beating him feels like you accomplished something truly difficult.

Yeah, the all of the Collossus in Shadow of the Collossus...

Every time I took one down and it would show a cutscene of it falling...it made me feel as if I had just done something epic...

Coming out on top in an online FPS deathmatch. For me its a huge rush. Also, big bosses like Ganon or Mother Brain are very satisfying.

Pretty much any of the enemies from Doom/Doom II. They all have that extremely satisfying death animation and great sounds to go along with it. Combined with the incredibly satisfying weapons I could easily say that Doom and Doom II are the most satisfying shooters ever made in terms of enemy slaughtering.

the colossus at the beginning of God of war 2 (the part outside it)

owning (not only winning) in a strategy game (RTS or strategy RPG , human or not!)
