My game Colloc is "beaten" by a sexual content game in puzzle tag, Why!

I highly suggest they should be only shown in sexual content tag, this won't decrease Valve and those "developers'" income.

Sex sells? Sucks but that's just the way it is.

@collocgame: That's a naive way of looking at your potential market. May want to consider all possibilities, instead of the most transparent. Think like a business-person, not a child.

That list tells me price differences maybe a factor being overlooked. Just as the same reason your game is above Alien Escape.

And if I have to be honest with Otaku Puzzle; it's very clearly marketed towards a demographic. Even if it's one you do not approve of.

Colloc I cannot tell with such weak marketing art, who is the demographic visually? Someone who is considering sales cannot overlook cosmetic appeal. As such would state your game has the same issue as Alien Escape, it's bland. Visually doesn't have a notable demographic due to its uninspiring illustrations.

Outside of pricing maybe improve your marketing art direction.

I am as baffled as you are by the fact anyone would pay for porn, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Those games have a different market then yours. If you really want to sell your game. Learning at least basic marketing.

@npiet1: Do you have some good suggestions? such as some websites or conferences or even books, because I only know how to develop a game, but know few about marketing. Thank you very much.
