My Most Anticipated Games of 2014

8) The Elder Scrolls Online: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is one of my favorite games of all time. When I played Skyrim, I kept thinking how awesome it would be to have other players in the game the game to experience it with. I'm a little hesitant because I don't want to have to keep paying for it after purchasing it, but I'm still excited.

7) Halo: Halo is fantastic! It is my favorite first person shooter franchise. I greatly enjoyed Halo 4, and I'm excited for the continuation of the Halo franchise.

6) Destiny: Words cannot describe how great this game looks. I'm not really sure what else to say besides how awesome it looks. I hope it will be as great as we all hope.

5) Titanfall: Wow, this shooter looks awesome. It's going to change how we play first person shooters. I'm very anxious to play this game.

4) Batman: Arkham Knight: The Arkham series is fantastic. I admit that I was disappointed by Arkham Origins, but now that Rocksteady is back in charge, I'm confident that Arkham Knight will meet our expectations.

3) Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor: I haven't seen any gameplay so far, but from what I've heard and the fact that it's in middle-earth makes me very excited. I'm a huge fan of Tolkien's books and the movies. This game is so high on the list because I'm a huge fan boy.

2) Assassin's Creed: Unity: Assassin's Creed is one of my favorite video game series. AC Unity is the first AC to take place in a time period that I truly hoped for; the French Revolution. I love the French Revolution. There is so much potential for its story. The only reason this isn't my #1 is that we haven't seen much of it yet, and I have really high expectations for it. Since it's the French Revolution, my expectations must be met otherwise I'll be at least a little disappointed.

1) Dragon Age Inqusition: We've waited a long time for the third installment for Dragon Age. BioWare is my favorite video game company. They make the best RPGs. I lose myself in every game they release. I'm very excited for this game!

I am really looking forward to Infamous: Second Son! But I can't wait to see the Mad Max game either.

Guilty Gear Xrd, Dark Souls 2, Bravely Default (why doesn't NA already have this?), Transistor, Hotline Miami 2, MGS5, Octodad. I'll play FFX HD out of nostalgia. Persona 5, but there's no way it's localized until 2015 anyways.

I'll also replay some Samurai Gunn and Outlast on PS4.

Titanfall will be the most anticipated game. Pure multiplayer game with great detail and a good concept to build on with later games :D

Metal Gear V: Ground Zero will be a great storyline game to continue its predecessors.

The anticipation for these games are very high and I cannot wait for 2014

My most anticipated games of 2014 are, in no particular order:

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition-- I had Tomb Raider for the XBox 360, but never finished it. I'm willing to give it another go.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze-- Gotta have a good 2-1/2-D platformer in there.

Titanfall-- I'm slowly resigning myself to the reality that MMOs are becoming a larger part of console gaming, so I might as well dive in. Hopefully there's room to play it solo, and hopefully, with the fact that it's published by EA and with all the bugs BF4 had, this doesn't just turn out to be BF4 with robots.

Destiny-- Similar feelings as above for Titanfall, although I'm pleased that this one has the option to play the story and side missions solo.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes-- I haven't played a Metal Gear game since the third one, and I'm eager to jump back in.

Tom Clancy's The Division-- Another MMO, but I think it's the most interesting one.

Next Call of Duty title-- I loved Ghosts, and if the back-and-forth pattern between IW and Treyarch continues, I can't wait to see where Treyarch goes next when it's their turn in Fall 2014. Black Ops 3? Another WWII entry? Or perhaps new territory for the series? There's lots of it out there-- the Korean War, World War I, the first Gulf War.

Next Assassin's Creed title-- I had a blast going through Black Flag. There's lots of unexplored territory for Assassin's Creed: the American Civil War, the War of 1812, the Roman empire, perhaps pre-Communist Russia...

Watch Dogs: After their successful performance on new-gen consoles with AC4, I'm eagerly anticipating this open-world game.

Quantum Break: Remedy Entertainment's Alan Wake was probably the most original game I'd ever played. I have high confidence in their ability to deliver again.
