I've been collecting NES games here and there for the past couple years. I was born in 1989, so I was a little late to really experience the NES era. I've collected SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, PS1/2, Sega Dreamcast games, but I've pretty much sold/traded it all. The NES has by far my most favorite library. I've gone through a couple systems, some wacky controllers, and games but I'll just list what I've kept and own now. Rate it, discuss games, whatever. I just want to count my games and thought I'd share this all with you. I'll try to list my games alphabetically.

* = favorites

B = boxed

Toploader NES, with 2 dogbone controllers

NES Quickshot Pro

NES Advantage

NES Max

2 regular controllers (I'll probably throw these away or something, I don't want them around)

I traded in a whole crapload of other games (PS2, Gamecube, N64 etc) the other day to a local game store and got an FC Mobile II. It's a portable NES with a built-in screen, wireless controllers, and TV output. It's definitely awesome. You just plug in your original NES carts and go. Not sure how much I'll be using it but it's a really cool thing to have IMO.

Alien Syndrome

Balloon Fight

How about getting yourself Mega Man 3 & 6? Also, find yourself a copy of River City Ransom; it's a great beat-em-up with some rpg elements mixed in.

Never really liked the Megaman series that much. Used to have RCR but I gave it to a friend haha.

Not bad, you have a lot of the better games. I have been collecting NES games for 20 years, I didn't aquire a couple of the games you listeduntil just the last couple of years. Do you have a ultimate goal in your collecting? If you are still looking for more games I would suggest finding a gameXchange in your area, or hit up ebay. Overall I would say you have a good start! :)

That's a pretty good list. Just throw in Kid Icarus, Rygar, Strider, Zelda, and Little Nemo: The Dream Master and you're good to go.

Nice list. You should look into Faxanadu. Hidden gem that is.

Crap. Yeah I've been looking for Kid Icarus for quite some time. I forgot to add Zelda and Link's Adventure. Both scratchless gold carts, totally mint. Lol.

I don't really have an ultimate goal besides owning all the games I really like on the console. I still have a few to add, but not many. Dragon Warrior 2, 3, 4, Othello (LOL), a couple carts of "lost" NES roms (like Zelda: Outlandshttp://www.gamereproductions.com/products/Legend-of-Zelda-Outlands-(Gold-Label).html)

It's a decent list, but why on earth would you get rid of all your other stuff? I've got 22 different systems(not counting doubles or triples), almost 400 games across all of them, and more peripherals than your average gamer. I think I have 6 or seven original NES controllers...I just can't wrap my head around it. But if that's what you want, I cant knock it.

You definately need Kirby's adventure though!

I was born close to when you were (1993) and I never got to experience the NES, in fact I never knew there was one because my mother started me off with the SNES, we had like 30 games for it and my mothers friend had an SNES too which I got to play a lot when I visited. I really miss the SNES it was a great system. My favorite game for it is that Indiana Jones game that had The Lost Ark to the third movie, it was great. EDIT: crap man sorry, I got too involved in my memories, your collection is smexi! :3 You really need Metal Gear 2 to make it epic.

So many classics are missing from the list, but I'm sure you'll fix that. :)

You have a few really good ones, but there's a ton more you shuld look into geting from a collector's stand point, and from a game play stand point.

Yes I realize there is a lot missing from the list. There were a few I forgot to add (Faxanadu, Pinbot, Magician, The Immortal, Blaster Master). As far as hardcore collecting goes, I'm probably not going to bother going after the more rare carts. I just want to own a cart of every game I like.

Ultimately, near completion, I will have added these to the library:

Rush N Attack

Willow

The Guardian Legend

Power Blade

Journey to Silius

A Boy and His Blob

Spy Hunter

Little Nemo the Dream Master

Gargoyle's Quest II

Kung Fu

Super C

Double Dragon 3

Kid Niki

Tengen Tetris

Ninja Gaiden I, II, III

Crystalis

Batman

Snake Rattle n Roll

Micro Machines

Duck Tales

Bionic Commando

Mach Rider

MTV Remote control

Shadowgate

Solstice

Battle of Olympus

Yoshi

Hydlide

Ice Hockey

Astyanax

Cobra Triangle

Rad Racer

Fester's Quest

Blades of Steel

RC Pro-Am

I am really not trying to be rude, but you only have like 30 titles listed there. You do have really good games, but you pretty much have the games that everyone else has. I could go on and on about stuff like Kirby, Goonies, Final Fantasy, but there are too many good titles to count. Good start, but loooong ways to go.
