And she brought it so I could play. I was wondering, despite the fact that the ps2 isn't as powerful in terms of graphics compared to the ps3, should: 1. the games still be fun? And if so: 2. what good games would you guys recommend? I don't like sports games or guitar hero, so yeah...what do you guys suggest?
1 - if you think graphics is what makes a game fun and you have a ps3, then no it won't be as fun as a ps3 because the graphics aren't as good..... also if you think great graphics is what makes a game fun you need to seriously consider your viewpoint on games (and probably go play super mario bros 3 on an original nintendo)
To add what ash10692 said on MGS2, you play Snake in the Tanker mission, which is the first one, and you play Raiden in the Plant mission, which is the second one.
And Metal Gear Solid and Grand Theft Auto would be good games to play.

Do the GTA games have excessive violence and the ability to do funny business with hookers?
First thing u have to do is get God Of War series.. Its freaking awesome.. Easily the best game in the PS2 library.. Other must haves are.. And m mentioning only games with good graphics since i feel u give graphics higher priority..
