EATheVinceudntnoall i needed to see that crappy company will slap a online pass and milk their customers for all they are worth
The NFS series started taking a nosedive with the Underground series. The first Underground is probably one of the most repetitive, underwhelming and tasteless racing games I've ever played.
Also, storylines? I never understood why a racing game should have a storyline. Let alone if the story is cringeworthy cheese.
@punkpunker however NFS Most Wanted is the indirect sequel to NFS Underground 2 and Carbon being the direct sequel to Most Wanted they are linked but nothing like underground customization wise
@garrett duffman I do own MCLA but it doesnt feel the same and it is nothing like Need For Speed Underground 2 not even close you cant even compare it
a nose dive? need for speed underground 1 and 2 sold more than any other need for speed what are you talking about those games are great and who really cars about a story line as long as you have fun now i realize everyone has different opinions but dont trash it because you didnt like it a lot of people didThe NFS series started taking a nosedive with the Underground series. EA ignore their fans like usual. They will probably shower us with stupid games like NFS the run or shift.

I thrash the game because it was bad. How many people liked it is irrelevant.

I agree, if they released an Underground 3 that would be so cool, the NFS games seem a little all over these days, one year its track racing on circuits then its back to streets then circuits, I gave up at Most Wanted, actually I lie, I gave Pro Street a chance but found that too awful to bare and since never bothered to sit and play another NFS game through. I think EA should leave the track racing to games like Gran Turismo & Forza Motorsport and instead aim their focuses on the underground street racing that we all love and want back.JeromeCollinge

And it being good is just your opinion as well. Funny how this works, huh?

Apparently Criterion is making another NFS title, and that it is said to be looking into the past, like they did with Hot Pursuit. Underground racing, high stakes racing, drags and drifting would definitely be most welcome, so a Underground 3 or another game with thos elements would be most welcome. As for what is currently available and similar, I recommend Juiced 2 and Midnight Club: LA.Sagacious_Tien
I thought there was a crackdown on street racing games and that the only reason that the last NFS was released was because cops were playable characters. I'm not sure if that's why there was no Midnightclub 5 or there was some issue at one of Rockstar's studios.
I do really miss totally decking out a virtual honda civic... i bought midnight club LA like 3 months ago, but was disappointed when i realized there were even less cars than there was on midnight club 3 DUB edition for the ps2....

Underground 3 is one of my most wanted (probably my most wanted) racing games. I have Mario Kart 7 for my party type atmosphere and Shift (could use a better sim, but its good) for my sim type racer, but I really want Underground 3 for my free-roaming, car pimping, street racing stuff and F-Zero for the wacky, fast paced, intense course racing.
EA, why hasn't there been an underground 3 yet? NFS Underground and Underground 2 are the best and probably most succesful NFS games ever created so why stop at number 2? To be fair, after Underground 2 the NFS games after that went downhill. The storylines were pretty good but the game itself was rubbish and now EA are making track games! Thats not what need for speed is about! Need for speed is about being able to modify your car to the max and then go out on the streets free roaming and then doing every race there is (drag, drift, sprint, circuit and street x) After Underground 2 they got rid of being able to have neon and all the other fantastic mods you could put on your car and replaced it with one shop that sold engine parts, body kits and paint! I mean what's the point in that! It was much better when there were 4 or 5 shops that you could go and find in a section of the map and then mod your car to the max! Also why have they started putting supercars into the games. You can't mod supercars! Why can't we just have the toyota supras and the evos and the cars that can actually be proparly moded! And why can't we have all the proper mods back like neon and sound systems! There are millions of people asking the same question. Why hasn't the been a need for speed underground 3 yet? If your one of those people please post your thoughts. TheVinceudntnoIf you like underground 2 so much then play it again, still feel the need Underground 3 ? Then theres something you're not willing to admit to yourself.
Even if EA plan to make U3, I highly doubt that EA could deliver an inovative NFS game, the series is just played out.
